Mastering Quality and Innovation: Simplifying Life Through Hard Work and Challenges : Anyone who has visited or worked at a P&G factory will be impressed by the company's comprehensive strategies. These strategies encompass the meticulous selection of top talent, provision of essential resources for peak performance, rigorous quality control, ongoing development, innovation, and the use of advanced technology. Such practices instill a profound confidence in the reliability and excellence of P&G products. An example of total quality Believe it or not ? In 2014, i abruptly left my job at Procter & Gamble. In 2016, a friend gave me a set of Gillette razors. Although the price seemed high at first, I was surprised by the durability and quality of the product. After regular use and careful maintenance—cleaning with alcohol and storing after each use—this razor has remained in excellent condition until 2024 ( now !!!) . I am truly impressed and grateful to everyone who contributed to the creation of this exceptional product. #Procter #Gamble #quality #succès #trust #strategies #innovation

Perfume creation used to be considered exclusively an art, relying mostly on trial and error. Rafael Trujillo, P&G VP Master Perfumer, set out to marry the art with the science and is recognized as a driving force behind the codification of perfume creation — leveraging digital innovation tools to better understand and predict what scents people will like and why. The process creates new scents for P&G brands like @Febreze that appeal to consumer needs and brings new, irresistibly superior scent experiences to consumer homes faster. Are you frustrated that your junior team members in NPD just don’t seem to “get it”? That they seem to lack understanding the urgency of critical paths and everything that is involved in the Gate process? Could it be that they have a lack of understanding of how it all works? I know as a young technologist, I was worried about asking the questions for fear of looking stupid and I felt like I “should” know it all, as I had just got a degree! We see time and again, young technologists confidence being knocked for this exact reason. That’s why we have launched a course to teach the overall NPD process and debunk all the myths, allow your team to ask the stupid questions in a safe environment. This isn’t only going to help increase your teams efficiency, it is also going to help them feel more confident in their role, which means you’ll have to intervene less often. Reflecting on Procter & Gamble's Pampers diapers and their cultural misstep in Japan. The packaging, featuring a stork delivering a baby, failed to resonate with Japanese parents due to cultural differences in folklore. This incident underscores the critical need for cultural sensitivity and thorough research when launching products in new markets. It's a valuable lesson for brands embarking on international expansion endeavors. #Csquared #DigitalTransformation #Strategy #MarketingHorrorStories #PampersInJapan

Celebrating Team Unity: Valeo CDA Troy Purchasing Team Potluck At Valeo Troy, we understand that a strong team is built on mutual respect, open communication, and shared experiences. Our recent CDA Purchasing Team Potluck was a perfect embodiment of these values. This event wasn't just about sharing food; it was about fostering connections and reinforcing the camaraderie that makes our team resilient and effective. Each team member brought their favorite dish, transforming our potluck into a culinary journey around the world. From savory delights to sweet treats, the variety of dishes showcased our diverse backgrounds and tastes. As we savored each bite, we engaged in lively conversations, sharing stories behind our recipes and exploring new culinary insights. These discussions went beyond food, delving into our personal interests, hobbies, and experiences. Such interactions are invaluable in a workplace setting—they help us see beyond our professional roles and appreciate the unique perspectives each team member brings. This deeper understanding and appreciation for one another enhance our collaboration and problem-solving capabilities. Our potluck reminded us that strong teams are built on more than just professional interactions. By taking the time to enjoy each other's company and celebrate our diverse cultures and preferences, we strengthen the bonds that make us not just colleagues, but a cohesive and dynamic team. This unity is our greatest asset as we navigate challenges and strive for excellence together. #proudtobevaleo #valeousa

Valeo Expands in Europe—But Who’s Going to Fill the Skills Gap? The acquisition of I.D.C. Holding is just the start—But can the industry keep up with the talent demand? I’ve just read about Valeo Foods expanding its European footprint with the acquisition of I.D.C. Holding, a major player in Central European confectionery and food manufacturing. While this is exciting news for the food manufacturing sector, it raises a critical question who will fill the growing skills gap? There's no shying away from: -Tech Advancements -Aging Workforce -Decline in Apprenticeships and Training -Misalignment of Education and Industry Needs -Brexit Impact -Shift to Contract Work As demand for talent skyrockets, especially in technical roles like maintenance and engineering, it’s becoming clear that many companies are struggling to find the right people to drive this expansion. So, what can be done? 💡 Invest in Upskilling: Elevate current employees to fill technical positions. 💡 Partner with Training Institutions: Create apprenticeship programs to develop the next generation of talent. 💡 Expand Your Talent Search: Consider transferable skills from other industries. 💡 Flexible Hiring Models: Use part-time or contract workers to meet immediate needs while long-term solutions are developed. If you’re facing similar challenges with your team or have vacancies to fill, let’s chat. I’d love to help close that gap and keep your business growing. 📧 Arnie@hamilton-woods.com 📞 07865 434136 #FoodManufacturing #Recruitment #SkillsGap #EuropeanExpansion #TalentDevelopment #UKManufacturing
