As of late 2021, fewer than 2 out of every 100 SaaS cloud companies that raised over $3Mio reached $100 Mio of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and only 2 out of every 1,000 reached $1B in ARR. 🙃 These success rates have since been steadily declining ... The purpose of revenue architecture is to boost these success rates and embrace that 'recurring revenue = recurring impact (for customers)'. ❤️ This 👆was one of my favorite takeaways that 🐶 Jacco van der Kooij discussed at the 1st European Revenue Architecture Summit hosted by Winning by Design (especially because it so clearly is one of Jacco's biggest passions). 🙏 It was focused on how we can align with markets & products and transform our GTM teams (across marketing, sales, customer success) into ‘revenue factories’ that efficiently produce revenue, while keeping costs low, and still delivering a high-quality customer experience. 🤝 Where each GTM motion acts as a production line.
