Diversion 🤝 Problem Solving Diversion is an intervention that is currently expanded systemwide. These specialists work closely with newly unhoused individuals and families to immediately access safe alternative housing options. This could mean staying with friends or family. In other cases, this could mean a negotiated return to their prior housing situation. Rural homelessness has increased by 40% in the last five years and affordable housing makes up only 9% of housing in villages. Our main purpose is to provide homes for affordable rent for those people with a housing need.
