🏎 F1 RACING IS ON FIRE! 🔥 Long expected 2024 Formula One season has begun with Bahrain Grand Prix weekend: 10 x competitive teams, that are like spiders in a jar, ready to take advantage of any opportunity on and off the track, using racing authorities and social media; 20 x very fast drivers, each with just two personal goals 1)beat the team mate 2)climb on top of the podium; hundreds of engineers who’s construction brilliancy and technical excellency is hidden behind the curtain - these invisible heroes build a mechanism, which we call a F1 car – the physical structure, that does not let the powerful engine to fly. ❌ Formula One is the system, where one of the main mathematical rules plays a significant role – the result of multiplying the even count of negative numbers is a positive one. Take a closer look! The will of domination, arrogance, scandals, intrigue, hypocrisy, selfishness are mixed and create the tremendously positive show! Everything is excellent here to the extreme! 🌟 The racing drivers elevated to Olympus are idols of a billion people on the planet. They risk their lives at high speeds and in every corner of the track, at the same time like being little children endlessly complain about each other on the radio during the race. Team principles, outwardly very serious and rich people, bright personalities heading large technical departments - at the same time delving into each other's dirty underwear. ♣ Formula One is an exclusive ten-teams membership club, with no place for the eleventh one, because the main selection criteria is not the presence of a technical base, but the extreme brightness of recklessness. Unlike in the other sports, everything is different here in Formula One – hard-line only! 🧞♂️ If Formula One did not exist, it would be definitely worth inventing. The genius is the one who created all of this! ⏭ Coming next…Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, where lovely team of F1 & Sky commentators including Laura Winter, Lawrence Barretto, Will Buxton and many others will nail their job for us. #business #investment #finance #money #stockmarket #growth #technology #future #norway #australia #switzerland #usa #netherlands #uk #germany #france #sweden

What we can learn from Formula 1 🏎️ 🏆 From her very first Australian Grand Prix in March this year, Bree Delaney headed to Singapore this week, where she witnessed her hero's win #landonorris. Here's a couple things she has noticed/learned from being trackside: 🤝Teamwork makes the dream work. Watching a crew swap out 4 tyres in the space of 2 seconds (1.8 if you're McLaren 🧡) at a pit stop is nothing short of miraculous 🛠️ In the thick of the dirty work is where the real magic happens. Even though the drivers are the face of the sport, the engineers + technicians are constantly working to repair, improve + upgrade the car so it's competitive to race 💎 Nothing worth having comes easy. Formula 1 teams are always pushing the limits, + sometimes they fail. But, they continue to innovate + resolve issues to try to create the fastest car on the grid In the words of recent 2024 British Grand Prix winner, Sir Lewis Hamilton, “In racing there are always things you can learn, every single day. There is always space for improvement, and I think that applies to everything in life." The parallels to business performance abound. Intrigued? Can a sticker win a race? Maybe not. But it can stop you from losing a race... From my experience providing in-race regulatory cover, I was excited in the nerdiest way possible by Porsche Penske Motorsport's recent Qatar WEC win. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝? Porsche Penske's leading #6 car collided with an LMGT3 Lexus with about 35 laps to go in the 2024 Qatar 1812km. The #6 car was damaged and the mandatory sticker displaying the car number was destroyed. The 2024 WEC Sporting Regulations state that the sticker "...𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘪𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘮𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴". And "𝘐𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘯𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴 (𝘣𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘺 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵), 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘙𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭." 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 Porsche Penske took the risk averse approach of pitting the #6 car and placing a replacement sticker within the required location to ensure regulatory compliance. Would they have got a penalty? Probably not (as this was genuine accident damage) but having earned the luxury of being able to make a quick stop and ensure compliance, they avoided any regulatory wrangling. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: 📏 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 – showed perfect knowledge of the WEC Sporting Regulations and the ability to quickly retrieve information. ✅ 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 – regulatory decision-making in a live-race scenario is hard. Some teams have lawyers on standby to review / double-check regulations, others will rely on the extensive knowledge of their Sporting Directors / Team Managers who are usually regulatory experts. It requires exceptional teamwork and planning to execute these quick-thinking solutions. 🪟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 – Porsche Penske created some great content from an otherwise dry regulatory topic (see linked post). Their social media admin explained the regulations, answered questions from fans on the topic, and took suggestions for how to approach this in future. Sports regulations are predominantly a negative topic so it’s great to see a positive spin. Let me know if you want to discuss sports regs, in-race cover, or methods for ensuring regulatory preparedness. #WEC #Motorsport #Porsche #Motorsportlaw #Sportslaw https://lnkd.in/erJ5DGQw

#WRC #video. For an event that was first run to celebrate the coronation of QE2, it took Britain a long time to muster a win; then for five out of six years, McRae and Burns shared the crown as the Kings of Kenya. Monaco remains the crown jewel. The atmosphere is unmatched for good reason. History and legacy play a role. So many great champions have demonstrated nerves and skill here. You can't help but feel it. The Automobile Club de Monaco have also done an excellent job at improving and modernizing their facilities. It's always going to be cramped, but that's part of the exclusive charm. The new FOM camera angles are excellent. Still a bit strange to see all the standard F1 sponsors in place of #Monaco's quirky mix of local and global brands. I do think it's time they paid more than they have, though just like Ferrari, having Monaco on the calendar is the same as an appearance fee in any other major tournament. Could they improve the race and the circuit? Sure. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) could require the teams to use only the two softest compounds over the weekend. No point in making it a strategy race if you don't create a real and exciting opportunity to pass. Move the DRS zone. The current DRS zone is mostly useless. Make the tunnel a DRS zone and change the Nouvelle Chicane to a left-right jog and you'd have an excellent spot for overtakes without slamming on the brakes as is now the case. These two adjustments would greatly heighten the tension and provide some real excitement without requiring the Principality to spend big money on changes to the "track". One last thing: bring back the 4 day event. Monaco is an excellent opportunity to capitalize on marketing opportunities. The teams have many more sponsors who need to engage and activate fans at the circuit and online. The extra day always provides everyone involved an extra day to create and maximize the value of such an extraordinary place. Long may she reign! #F1 #FIA #MonacoGP #MonacoCircuit

🏁 Another week and another huge development from the world of Formula 1. Legendary designer Adrian Newey signing with Aston Martin F1 Team after departing Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology is a significant moment not just for the teams involved, but for the sport as a whole. Newey’s move marks a fascinating shift in the competitive dynamics of F1. It highlights how critical engineering and design expertise have become to the long-term vision of teams. The spotlight on Newey’s signing also showcases how the sport is increasingly becoming a platform where individual talent — whether behind the wheel or behind the drawing board — can shape brand identity and future success. From a sports marketing perspective, this move strengthens Aston Martin's appeal to both commercial partners and fans, as they invest in top-tier talent to elevate their on-track performance. It underscores a growing trend in F1 where the people behind the scenes can drive as much brand value as the race cars themselves. Will we see more high-profile moves like this one redefining team competitiveness and brand narratives in the future? Only time will tell, but the stage is set. #F1 #Motorsport #Sponsorship https://lnkd.in/dzfYekeU

🏎️ What an exciting couple of weeks in the world of Formula 1! The standings post Baku and Singapore mean that the 2024 championship trophy is almost in reach, and it looks like it’s going to be a close call. ✈️ While the drivers have been having fun on track, our team at F42 have been working behind the scenes to make sure the paddock and beyond has a means of getting on the road. 📞 Four wheels aren’t always the first port of call at street races, but we love that we are trusted to support the few who do need another means of getting from A to B such as people carriers and specialist vehicles. While we might not always be on site for these kind of GP’s, we are but only a phone call away offering 24/7 on-call support throughout. 📧 If you’re a team, supplier, manufacturer, or broadcaster looking for support with your travel logistics there is still time for us to shine and show you what you’ve been missing all season. Email info@f42travel.co.uk to arrange a call with one of our experienced team to discuss how we can support your transport needs. #FormulaOne #F1 #BakuGP #SingaporeGP #CarRental #TravelLogistics
