Executive Connect Club’s Post

Risper Genga Ohaga Our second guest on Executive Connect was The Girl Who Never Cried. She captivated us with her incredible story of rising above the odds and working her way to the top of her class. She felt it was important to share her journey because, let’s face it, many people assume leaders just pop out of nowhere, draped in privilege, without a single scratch from life’s battles. As she tells us, “leaders are just people, like anyone else” – showcasing the importance of humanising leadership. Her experience at Executive Connect was a game-changer. Not only did it help her tackle some personal barriers (we all have them, right?), but it also gave her the chance to form really authentic connections with people she might never have crossed paths with. And let’s be honest – those of us lucky enough to be in the room? We’re all the better for soaking up her wisdom, one inspiring word at a time! Thank you for sharing, Executive Connect Club. I still remember this session so well. Excellent summary reminding us of the impactful session. One of the key lessons that was so clear to me is Risper Genga Ohaga's intentional goal setting and disciplined follow through. Really understanding the season one is in, setting goals of what is required to succeed in it and get to the next level and ined follow through until the goal is achieved and onto the next.
