Seeing mission-driven people turn their passions, ideas and things setting them apart into ventures that change the food system in a structural way is.. ✨ ..a mega magical thing to witness and be a part of.     🙏 Feels like a blessing that we will run another program this year which facilitates exactly this! 📯 Please help us find our future fresh founders because we truly need them to fundamentally change our economy and food system. 🔦 How to spot one? Good question. Here are 10 markers: • They're pretty dead set on starting a new organisation but don’t want to go at it alone • They've been trying to work change within the food system (often leading to some frustration about impact so far) or have been digging into it with great curiosity for a while  • They're fascinated by how deep change actually works  • They're the most passionate, persistent, problem-loving people out there • They thrive in uncertainty and are happy to get their assumptions tested • They understand that if they can’t see how they’re part of the problem they probably won’t be able to build a solution  • They like to do, build, experiment and get a bit itchy when it's too much talk • They're nurture themselves and see this as an inherent part of their (future) ventures   • They're not a fan of competition and like to build cooperatively - complementary to what exists already • They’re a bit crazy or at least at ease with leaning into their edginess ;-)   📣 High probability that they are only a couple hand-shakes or linkedin bubbles away, so please help spread the word by sharing below message or tagging them! 🔥 Big thanks to the team that’s on the hunt for them, very glad to be kick-starting magic with you! Kavya Dhoble, a determined entrepreneur from Junnar, made a bold decision to leave her secure government job, earning ₹75,000 per month, to pursue her passion for sustainable entrepreneurship. Inspired by her experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and a heartfelt gesture from a tribal family, she launched a vermicomposting business in 2017. This venture not only converts waste into valuable organic compost but also promotes eco-friendly farming practices. Starting with just one kilogram of earthworms gifted by a farmer, Kavya learned the intricacies of creating high-quality vermicompost. Her dedication paid off as local farmers began to see significant improvements in their crop yields, leading to increased demand for her product. Today, Kavya's business generates over ₹24 lakh annually while contributing to environmental conservation. Kavya also shares her knowledge through a YouTube channel where she interviews farmers and discusses organic farming techniques. Her journey serves as an inspiration for others looking to transition from traditional jobs to impactful entrepreneurial ventures.
