Royal Liverpool Philharmonic’s Post

We are honoured to receive Music Venue Trust's Outstanding Contribution to Grassroots Music Award 2024, alongside venues across the country! MVT works tirelessly to protect, secure and improve UK grassroots music venues for communities and emerging artists. And this year, in celebration of its 10th Birthday, it has given this award to not one, but all its delegates working together to protect the UK’s grassroots music scene. As well as working with many of the country’s leading promoters to attract world class artists to perform at our Hall, our intimate, 190 seat venue, Music Room, has booked 139 shows in 2024, ranging from classical, contemporary, rock, pop, folk, roots and jazz to comedy and spoken word. We partner with many diverse cultural organisations in the city to ensure that the artists and performances we put on stage, and the audiences we attract truly represent our community. We are pleased to receive this award alongside our Liverpool City Region colleagues in Future Yard CIC, Quarry and The Caledonia who all do great work to strengthen the music scene of the North West. Congratulations to all the winners! Follow Music Venue Trust to find out more about their work for #GrassrootsMusicVenues across the UK. #MusicIndustry #Grassroots #MusicVenueTrust
