Right now there are 36 job boards with a paid listing at JobBoardSearch 🔎 Which is all time higher 🥳 They spend between $19 and $499 /mo some have been advertising for more than 2 years 🙏🏻 Overall it made $47.924 💵 It's getting known in the industry Job site owners that I don't know from anywhere getting a paid listing and when I ask for feedback they said they found it on Google Or because job board softwares recommend their users to get listed Receiving partnerships or affiliates proposals I keep receiving DMs from job board founders or people wanting to build one for advice A lot of account with even millions followers are mentioning it Is probably time to double down? 🤔 #buildinpublic #jobboards #jobsites #recruitment

When you post a job listing to a popular job site like Indeed or Seek, your advertisement will not appear directly on a Search Engine 🫣 This is because these job boards do not leverage SEO for each individual listing. Instead, only the general Job title will appear in the search engine - candidates must then click through and navigate the flow of similar job listings. Meaning, they might never end up seeing your job listing! 😤 If you're spending hundreds monthly on Seek ads, with little or inaccurate results - this is a key point to consider moving forward. To job board or not to job board, that is the ultimate question. Don't get me wrong, it's great for your brand to have a presence on a job board, but the budget can be considerably better optimised across different social media platforms. Do you have a URL anywhere in your job ad? If so, it could be costing you visibility on the job boards… This week I was fortunate to host a webinar for our clients with our partner relationship manager from Indeed. This is one of the many amazing perks of being one of Indeed’s Platinum Partners! In the webinar we talked about 6 ways to master your visibility on Indeed. We spotlighted 3 rules that are often broken by TA professionals when posting their jobs. One of them is called Redirecting. We see a surprising amount of this happening with our clients’ jobs. Good news is, it is generally not malicious. -They simply want to share a video their marketing team made for them and shared via YouTube. -They just want to direct their job seekers to their core values on their company website. -They only want to include a link to their legally approved job description. Even though it may be innocent and even helpful, it could be harmful to the visibility awarded. So, what is redirecting? From Indeed’s employer help center: “Redirecting occurs when a job URL or application routes a job seeker away from the original application site.” It is disruptive to the flow of what an applicant expects. They want to see an ad and apply. Redirects can cause job seekers to lose trust or even get distracted in starting their application. And we don’t want that! Not to mention it violates Indeed’s policy - potentially resulting in decreased visibility for your jobs. Rather than including those links in your job ad, use your Careers Page or your About Us Page on your website. You can also complete your Employer Profile on Indeed as a powerful supplement to your job ad. It is totally free and when used properly, it can become a marketing piece to help attract the right talent to apply for your open roles. #jobboards #hiringhelp
