Agrovision Acquires Chilean Cherry Grower ZurGroup, Launches Agrovision Chile Global vertically integrated superfruit platform Agrovision has made a key strategic acquisition, gaining a foothold in Chilean cherry cultivation with the acquisition of grower and exporter ZurGroup. This deal also coincides with the company’s launch of Agrovision Chile, a beachhead in one of the world’s prime cherry production regions through which Agrovision will introduce proprietary, premium cherry varieties developed for superior flavor, freshness, and crunch across a planned 500 acres of orchards. https://lnkd.in/gGm7B4kB

Zespri's November 2024/25 forecast shows increased returns across most categories, with record per-hectare returns for green and organic green kiwifruit. SunGold returns have also risen, while Green14 and RubyRed remain stable. CEO Jason Te Brake credited strong collaboration, record crop volumes (190+ million trays), and cost efficiencies for the positive outlook. SunGold quality and demand remain high, while late-season challenges with green kiwifruit are being managed effectively. (USA / NEW ZEALAND) #kiwifruit Zespri™ Northern Hemisphere Sales Season Kicks Off; Nick Kirton Details. Zespri’s Northern Hemisphere sales season has begun with its counter-seasonal Zespri Global Supply (ZGS) program, which helps provide year-round supply of kiwifruit to key markets. This year, Zespri plans to sell over 26 million trays (93,000 tons) of kiwifruit from orchards in France, Italy, Greece, Korea and Japan. As part of the ZGS program, Zespri will be transitioning to ZGS SunGold in markets like Japan, Korea, the U.S. and China over the next few months. In addition, Zespri is asking New Zealand growers to support expanding the ZGS business by voting on the allocation of up to 420 additional hectares of SunGold kiwifruit in select regions. This expansion is aimed at meeting rising demand and maintaining the 12-month availability of premium Zespri kiwifruit. https://lnkd.in/gmthvBem
