Ivan Mariacher's insightful article highlights the critical need to integrate spectator safety into SIA Door Supervisor and Close Protection training. This comprehensive approach enhances the skill set of security professionals, improves job readiness and elevates public safety standards. It's great to see the 'Safer Crowds, Safer Venues' document acknowledged here also! 🙌 Crowd safety management is a specialist skill that shouldn't be overlooked. Instead of an additional top-up course, restructuring existing training to include basic crowd safety knowledge can make a significant difference. Staff may not need to master complex calculations or equipment, but understanding the basics can prevent serious issues and improve their effectiveness in managing large crowds. This article is a great read for all members interested in the future of crowd management and safety. Here we represent SIA (Safety In Action) #safety#HSE
The Safety in Action (SIA) program was officially inaugurated in a memorable ceremony at our head office, marking a significant step toward fostering a culture of safety across the organization. The event began with an inspiring opening speech by our Chief People Officer- ME Vishal Subba, who emphasized the importance of safety as a shared responsibility. He spoke passionately about how creating a safe workplace is not just about following rules and procedures but also about cultivating a mindset of care and vigilance that protects everyone. The entire program was thoughtfully designed and executed under the leadership of our Country HSE Manager Rathesh Unnikrishnan , and his dedicated team. It aims to inspire a collective sense of responsibility, encouraging all of us to look out for one another and create a work environment that is not only safer but also healthier and more supportive. From the engaging sessions to practical safety demonstrations, the program focuses on preventing accidents before they happen. Watch the video to see how the SIA program is making a positive impact, reinforcing the message that safety is everyone’s duty, and helping us create a future where accidents are rare and preventable. #SafetyInAction #WorkplaceSafety #Teamwork #StaySafe #PreventAccidents #LeadershipInSafety #adnhcatering #HSEQ Vishal Subba Rathesh Unnikrishnan Sudas Mohandas Firoz Sulaiman Riji George Shoukat Ali Nahas Hassan Fadi Saad Samden Bhutia Tanya Jaar
