Because safety and productivity are core values at S+R, we developed the Safe-Zone® enclosure. From within the the Safe-Zone® enclosure the operator can control all stringing operations including drum engagement, disengagement, and payout brake control. There is no need to get off of the unit or be on the ground, lessening the exposure to rotating machinery and equipotential zone risks. Safe-Zone® enclosures, like the one on the PLW-400H, provide overhead and surrounding protection to the operator. Inside the Safe-Zone® enclosure, Sherman and Reilly's ergonomic control panel and seat design reduces the fatigue of awkward body positions, high resistant levers, and mechanical vibration. 🚧 Construction Safety Week Tip #5 🚧 Ride-on construction equipment like skid steers, excavators, and forklifts is beneficial but dangerous if not used correctly. Ensure operators are trained, inspect equipment regularly, wear seat belts, and use spotters and mirrors for visibility. Understand stability limits, watch for overhead clearance, and communicate clearly with ground personnel. 🚧 Crane Safety Alert: The Critical Role of Load Charts 🔍 Here is the another video on crane overloading highlights the importance of staying within a crane's rated capacity to prevent accidents. But did you know that Load Charts are your best ally in planning your lift ? What are Load Charts? Load charts are essential tools 🛠️ that show a crane's lifting capacity under various conditions, such as boom length, angle, and load radius. 📏🔗 Why are Load Charts Important? Safety: They prevent overloading and accidents. 🛡️🚫 Efficiency: They optimize crane operations. 🔄⚙️ Compliance: OSHA requires their use. 📜✅ How to Use Load Charts? Training: Operators must be trained to read them. 🏫📖 Specificity: Each crane model has its own chart. 📊🏗️ Key Takeaways Always consult the load chart before a lift. 📊✅ Understand capacity curves. 📉📈 Stay updated on safety protocols. 🔄🔒 #CraneSafety #LoadCharts #HeavyLifting #ConstructionSafety #OSHA #JobSiteEfficiency #PreventOverloading #SafetyFirst #ConstructionIndustry #LiftingSolutions #CraneOperations

Link below shows pull-through test performed by Frictape perimeter safety net panel. This video shows well why Frictape perimeter nets is the worlds most widely used perimeter net solution: net is able to withstand much higher load than metal panels and ultimately net panels rupture only where force is applied. Rest of the panel structure remains unharmed and remains safe to capture any additional falling persons. Safest safety net in the world. https://lnkd.in/dPg_qbyd The 2nd video shows pull through testing done on a typical perimeter net panle made of stainless steel. The panel brakes in random locations with the clips braking off first and then the panel rupturing here and there. Unsafe structure and shows well why we at Frictape do not use metal in our perimeter safety nets. https://lnkd.in/dfaXEqyu Choose safety, choose Frictape.

In the world of heavy lifting, having the right equipment is crucial. An adjustable chain sling offers great versatility, durability, and strength, making it a great option for many rigging applications. 💪 Benefits of Adjustable Chain Slings: 1. Versatility: Easily adjust the length to fit various lifting needs. 2. Durability: Withstand harsh environments and heavy loads. 3. Flexibility: Chains are inherently flexible, allowing them to wrap around the load if necessary for added stability and control through the lift. With that being said, even the best equipment needs regular inspection to ensure peak performance. 🔍 Importance of Inspecting Rigging Equipment: 1. Avoid Hazards: Regular checks help identify wear and tear before it becomes a danger. 2. Extend Lifespan: Proper maintenance ensures your equipment lasts longer. 3. Compliance: Stay in line with safety regulations and standards. Always prioritize safety by using the appropriate equipment and performing routine inspections. Don't leave safety to chance! Speed Up Your Guardrail Installation with These Expert Hacks! 🛡️ Pre-Assemble Your Posts: Save time and energy by pre-assembling your posts before you hit the job site. Imagine being on a rooftop with your team in 30-degree heat, facing 300 feet of guardrail to install. A little preparation goes a long way for a fast and efficient installation. 🛡️ Use Pre-Made Jigs for Midrails: Meeting OSHA and OHSA standards requires midrails to be at least 21 inches (53 cm) high, positioned halfway between the top edge of the guardrail and the walking surface. Instead of measuring each post, streamline the process with one of Liftsafe Fall Protection’s pre-made jigs. It’s a simple way to save time and ensure accuracy.
