This is not a Key Account Manager role—it’s for a real hunter who loves the thrill of finding and closing new deals.   Your Role in Our Team: Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential business opportunities through market research, cold calling, and networking. Client Acquisition: Develop and pitch tailored proposals to secure new corporate and SME accounts, driving business growth. Strategic Sales Execution: Work independently to implement a sales strategy that aligns with company goals and market demands. Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers, ensuring a positive experience from initial contact to deal closure. Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge. Reporting and KPIs: Track and report on sales performance, ensuring goals are met or exceeded. Requirements and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential). Experience: 3+ years of proven success in business development or sales, in the car rental industries Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Analytical mindset to interpret market data and translate insights into strategies. Attributes: A self-starter with a proactive and tenacious attitude. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines. Results-oriented, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Mobility: Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle. Willingness to travel extensively within the Western Cape.
