Just over a week ago, we were blessed to have so many generous members of the CNY community turn out to celebrate Laurie Mezzalingua's life, recognize her founding of Saint Agatha Foundation, and honor her memory by 'continuing the promise' we made to help CNY breast cancer patients afford their illness -- so they can focus on beating their diagnoses. Again, we thank all who made our 15th Anniversary Gala a resounding success -- you'll see clear and beautiful proof of how lovely and inspiring the event was in this slide show below! -- whether that meant attending, sponsoring the event, being featured in one of our terrific videos, or contributing through volunteerism! This month, we proudly join the global movement to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer. 💖 Our campaign is more than just an initiative; it’s a commitment to action, hope, and community. We are honored to foster an environment where compassion and empathy are as important as innovation. Every small action counts, and each of us has a role to play—whether it’s wearing a pink ribbon, participating in events, or simply offering words of encouragement to someone in need. 🚀 Together, we can make a difference. Meet the Changemakers behind Nobody Fights Alone, a programme that embodies hope, and the power of community. In Sri Lanka, over 2,500 people are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and Bodyline recognises the critical importance of early detection and compassionate care. Since 2021, the Nobody Fights Alone Cancer Programme has empowered over 9,500 women in our workforce with the knowledge to detect symptoms early, while actively supporting survivors during their recovery journey. By donating over 30 mastectomy bras every month to Apeksha Hospital and providing vital support to low-income families, we are helping women regain their confidence and comfort when they need it most. Here’s to the Changemakers who prove that together, nobody fights alone. #NobodyFightsAlone #BreastCancerAwareness #CervicalCancer #CancerAwareness #EarlyDetection #Prevention #MastectomyBras #Changemakers #MASPlanForChange #EmpoweredWomen #LivesChangedForGood

As October paints the world pink, we are reminded of the strength and resilience of those affected by breast cancer. This cause hits close to home – we all know or have met a survivor, and there are numerous lessons we have learnt from their unique journeys. For me, I have learnt the power of early detection and unwavering support from loved ones and the society. To all warriors, survivors, and those we've lost: your courage inspires us daily. 💕 This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let's take action: 1. Schedule your mammogram – early detection is a life saver. 2. Support a friend going through treatment – sometimes just being there makes all the difference. 3. Educate yourself and others about risk factors and symptoms. 4. Donate to research if you can – every contribution counts. Remember, self-care isn't selfish. Take time for yourself, practice self-exams, and listen to your body, go on that doctor's appointment you've put off for a while. Together, we can make a difference. Let's spread hope, raise awareness, and support each other. #BreastCancerAwareness #PinkTober #SupportTheFight #selfcare #SynergicSustainability
