Reimagining Tulum: Where Art Meets Spirit Tulum is known for its serene, minimalist aesthetic—a space that often leans into calm, neutral tones. But there’s so much more to this place than what meets the eye. It’s a vibrant vortex of spiritual energy, a place where nature and mysticism converge. Yet, in the homes, this depth is rarely reflected in the design. So…since I love to imagine what could be…I designed a collection of pools that bring a burst of life and color to what I envision as Tulum’s 2nd wave of architectural landscape. Each pool features custom art tiles (by @penelopesloanart) inspired by the natural beauty and spiritual resonance of this magical place. These designs are a bold maximalist departure from the typical beige palette, offering a new take on what Tulum could be—a place where art, nature, and spirituality coexist boldly in harmony. They’re not just pools; they’re immersive experiences that transform a simple dip into a journey through the vibrant soul of Tulum. Each design is crafted to reflect the lush greenery, the rich cultural tapestry, and the powerful energy that makes Tulum truly unique.
