And that's exactly what makes it a sales pitch. But selling is a conversation. And real conversations involve vulnerability. ... People will always choose people they know. So how will they really know you if you don't give them ways to do so?

Kicking off a call block can require a little extra motivation, so we asked top sales reps how they get into the right mindset for cold calling. ☎️ John Graham at Hyqoo had a smart approach that you might find useful.👇 His first move? Checking the news for any updates about those companies—good or bad. This helps him get in the business mindset, tailor his communication style, and set the right tone for each interaction. When engaging with prospects, remember: It's not about pitching; it's about understanding. 🔑 The key isn't to wax lyrical about your product's features. Instead, become genuinely curious about their challenges, goals, and the gaps they're looking to fill. 🤔 Ask better questions. Dive deep. It's not about YOU showcasing what you can offer; it's about THEM feeling heard and understood. By shifting your focus from selling to serving, you're more likely to build a connection that blossoms into trust. 🌱 Grow relationships, not just sales figures. #SalesTip #CustomerCentric #ActiveListening

Stop using cold, bland scripted messages. They're impersonal, uninspired, and ineffective. People are constantly getting DM's with the same old pitch-slap in seconds. That's not how sales work. Messages should: ↳Start meaningful conversations ↳Connect on a personal level ↳Address specific needs ↳Offer genuine value A generic sales pitch won't tick any of these boxes. You think prospects don’t notice? They do. If your pitch starts with: "Hi [Name], I see you might be interested in [product/service]. Let’s set up a call, here is my calendar link." … it’s clear you’re just there to make a sale and move to the next. What makes it worse: Most people will ignore your message. There are no winners here. Here's the thing. One personalized outreach beats 100 generic messages: ↳You get a response. ↳You build real connections. ↳You increase your chances of closing deals. Long story short: "Keep those messages personal!"
