One of the lesser known chapters of Europe's Age of Crusades were the Hussite Crusades medieval Bohemia (modern Czech Republic) in the early 15th century. The Hussites fought for their right to worship as they saw fit against Catholic enemies who surrounded them, and in doing so, perfected a form of tactics using armored wagons and a mix of weapons, including the newest gunpowder technologies. This clip is from a 4-hour-long podcast, which is linked in the comments. * GWOT (Global War On Terror) Few nominees have generated both intense concern in their detractors and support amongst some in the U.S. Military #Veteran community than Tulsi Gabbard. Either she's a Russian asset and "Their Girl" (Peter Zeihan's phrase), or she's one of the few Americans who volunteered to fight as a Soldier in the Middle East and has chosen to speak out on the D.C. Beltway's proclivity to push America's sons and daughters into conflict after conflict without a Congressional vote. She's not the only one, but she's had more success in getting visibility on the topic than most. I've deployed to Afghanistan, worked homeland security issues in Washington D.C., done support for drone operations overseas, trained to repel the "Huns" from eastern Europe, and now serving in the closest thing the Army National Guard has to "Tier 1" domestic response units (CBRN). A sustainable and responsible national security policy is important to me. I've seen some glimpses of where the last 20 years has brought us, and the cost has been high. Depending on what direction we take right now, that cost could become much higher. Make your own conclusions.
