Are Subscription based models good for the consumer? Here we look into HP latest attempt into forcing customers to pay for a "subscription based" ink service and the downside it comes comes. As subsequent users found out, if you, at any stage, decide to stop this "subscription" to their ink service, HP can remotely disable the printer, even if the cartridge has sufficient ink in it.
