For example, if your mechanic doesn’t have all of his necessary equipment on hand when he takes your car in for service. The same thing happens with installing these types of doors! The best way around this problem is by investing in some basic hardware. Any flat roof installers available for advice ? What is the installation process is there a guide to see the process. What quals do you need?

Years ago I volunteered to be part of the field installation team from my previous job for me to learn the how-to's of the practical aspect. Doing things from your desk to carrying and laying pipes, pulling cables, and erecting ladders under the scorching heat of the sun is no easy task. It was fun and rewarding since you are working with a diverse group of people learning from them and seeing your flaws that experience has thought them over the years. One thing that's challenging is water-proofing connectors, we often tend to give that task to the installation boxes and seal it with silicon sealants it works but in some cases especially the rainy season we receive some reports that some cameras stop transmitting video, the culprit? water infiltrating to the box rusting metal components in the connectors. So it is important to follow manufacturer recommended installation instructions, here's one example you should follow... :)

Plugzzzzz Wiring up plugs can be quite fiddly to do … But here is a quick informative video to show you some tips… Oh. One thing I forgot to mention here which is very important, is to make sure that the paper label is removed as this is a fire hazard ( very often we see them left on the plug as people don’t take them off )

This is a topic which is often brought up with our customers because they’re not sure whether they need to use a calibrated torque wrench. The fact is that with throughbolts, you always should, because it sets the anchor and creates the necessary clamping force to secure the fixture. While it may seem like a small detail, the right tool for the job can make a big difference in the outcome. It's understandable if you're hesitant - they are costly. But having them in your toolbox can save you time and effort in the long run, and most importantly, mitigate the risk of an unsafe installation. ❌ Plus, a calibrated torque wrench is also recommended by industry codes of practice, such as BS 8539:2012+A1:2021. 📃 When budgeting for your M&E support installation tools, don't forget the long-term value.
