Another interesting paper from our group (led by Jayasai Rajagopal) is on the impact of image formation factors on material discrimination in spectral CT. Multi-contrast imaging is an exciting application of photon-counting CT, but many questions still remain. What imaging factors influence discrimination? What metrics should be used to quantify it?
