Hiring transformation automation is so much more than a faster status quo 🚄 Learn from one of the best- facing into scaling hiring for one of the fastest growing and most exciting consumer brands there is JOE & THE JUICE In the words of Sebastian Jeppesen's ....their Global Head of TA (who started as a juicer, don't you love that! ) 📈 On Measurable Outcomes: "In just three months, we saved 3,000 hours and reduced our time to hire globally by 33%, from 18 days to 12." 🦹 On Candidate Experience at Scale: "We can offer between 300,000 and 400,000 first interviews around the clock... meeting candidates where they are rather than making them fit with what we can offer." 📲 On scaling through tech : "We expect to hire 40,000 people over the next four years... Hiring at that scale wouldn’t be possible without the help of a solution like Sapia.ai." 💪 On AI's Impact on Decision-Making: "Sapia.ai provides extra optics and tools, enabling us to choose the right person the first time rather than the 10th time." 🩷 On Building Trust in AI: "I came with the assumption that AI would be biased, but I've been proven wrong... I've unwittingly become the AI expert in my surroundings because of this journey." ⚖️ On Ensuring Fairness in Recruitment: "It was important for me to offer a fair way of recruiting... People will hire in their own image... Sapia.ai ensures we are offering at least a fair part of the first process." On Time Savings and Efficiency: "Our recruiters are roughly saving a full working day per week screening CVs... That amounts to quite a bit and allows them to focus on more meaningful work like onboarding and retention." ⭐ On blind hiring: "We now hire people we would never have considered before, like a 33-year-old architect in Oslo who applied for entry-level but turned out to be one of our best store managers." 🌏 On Global Adaptability: "We support multiple languages, ensuring inclusivity across all markets... It's essential for us to meet candidates where they are culturally and linguistically." #transformyourhiringexperiencewithsapia #aiforgood #hiring #recruitment #Hrtech #workingwithincrediblebrands #hiringeoplewhobelongwithyourbrand #recruiting #candidateexperience #inclusion #blindhiring #conversationalAI #ai

65% of companies said they plan to hire entry-level professionals in early 2024. - Robert Half survey "Bringing in workers who are in the early stages of their career is a smart hiring strategy," said Dawn Fay, operational president of Robert Half. "Recent grads and entry-level professionals can help drive innovation by delivering fresh ideas and new skills." I completely agree with Dawn Fay. As someone deeply invested in transforming how we work through AI, I see this as more than just a hiring trend. It’s a call to action for us to blend new talent with new technology, creating a powerhouse of growth and innovation. So, what’s next for organizations? It’s about creating an ecosystem where curiosity meets knowledge, and innovation thrives. We need to ensure that we’re not just hiring but also nurturing talent, making space for new ideas and the energy to explore them. And for the young professionals starting their journey, here’s my two cents: 1. AI is your friend. Understand it, play with it, and think about how it can be applied in your field. The future is digital, and AI is the steering wheel. 2. Dive into real challenges. Look for platforms or projects where you can see AI in action. Whether it’s exploring datasets on Hugging Face or tinkering with AI tools, get your hands dirty with real work. 3. Market watch is key. Keep an eye on the skills that are in demand within your dream job market. Tailor your learning and projects to bridge the gap between you and your next opportunity. As we navigate this year, I’m excited to see how we can all contribute to a workspace that not only welcomes new talent but empowers it to reshape our world. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the British Recruitment Awards, where a panel discussed the role of #AI in job applications. While I understand the concerns about standardised, “carbon-copy” applications flooding ATS systems, the widespread fear about candidates using AI actually surprised me. In fact, I completely disagree with this sentiment... Consider this: a report from Dell Technologies and the Institute for the Future found that 85% of the jobs we’ll see by 2030 don’t even exist yet. Given that, we can’t rely on traditional experience and knowledge for roles that haven’t even been invented. Instead, we need to be actively seeking out talent that’s adaptable, resourceful, and ready to navigate uncharted territory - and that includes knowing how to leverage tools like AI to bolster their commercial awareness, knowledge, and problem-solving abilities. So, the notion that “we want to know what candidates actually know” is becoming less relevant in an age when curiosity and adaptability are more valuable than fixed knowledge. AI is enabling junior candidates to stand out by expanding their skill sets and increasing their awareness - skills they’ll need to thrive in the unknowns of the future job market. For hiring managers, talent leaders, and business leaders alike: let’s embrace the pace of change, encouraging candidates to use the resources at their disposal. AI isn’t a shortcut; it’s a learning tool, a stepping stone to the kind of agile thinking we’ll need in the years ahead. So if you're an entry level candidate who has sought out the help of ChapGPT, CoPilot, Google Bard, YouChat, Perplixity AI, Jasper or any other AI I am not yet up to date with and you are looking for a chance to work in an organisation that understands the opportunity and limitations of AI, and how you can use it to give you the space to become a well rounded professional in your field of expertise... Well we are hiring here at Leyton. Plus our internal TA team is pretty great if you haven't heard already! Reach out to one of the team for a confidential chat!
