What a fascinating day - talking with packaging people and understanding the huge opportunities for reusable and refillable systems at the Reuse and Refill Fair (Salon du Vrac, dahling) in Paris. Many viable alternatives to single-use packaging are itching to get on the market. To be a success, it will need all of us everywhere to take part - from shoppers and eaters to retailers, food manufacturers, distributors, packaging producers, used packaging collectors, cleaners, digital technology providers, local authorities, governments and more. This is a huge systematic change in how we consume and dispose of packaging, affecting primary, secondary and transport packaging. 👉🏼 Things will go fast in the next 5 years with regulations and innovations scaling up. Keep tuned! 👉🏼 Look here for packaging suppliers and organizations who are shaking things up: https://lnkd.in/eaAy5Syg #sustainability #esg #circularity #packaging

I love this. I totally agree with the “all of us everywhere “ point you make. Do you have any examples of systems thinking in this area? I’ve seen a few at small scale but nothing cross industry as you correctly state we need to switch to 🤔
