🥽 We're on a quest to redefine the boundaries of the stage, creating extended environments and creating within those environments. What are the limits of XR and 3D technologies? How do they interact with the moving human body? We aim to establish standards for capturing and live-streaming performances, enabling remote audience participation. Furthermore, we're exploring the possibilities of knowledge transmission and rehearsal within the virtual domains, as well as our capacity to shape and interact with these environments. 📺 Live performances enhanced with VR 👉🏽👈🏼 Virtual interaction in the VR space Through two pilot projects set in theatre and dance venues, we'll evaluate the technological capacity and practical implications of these scenarios. #virtualstage #horizoneurope

For years our directors have been working in the background to establish what would be the most beneficial global metaverse for culture, travel and tourism. Sime on how 3D modelling, digital twinning and Virtual Reality could be used to digitally capture, preserve and provide global access to cultural artifacts that could be at risk from war, natural disaster and rising sea levels. Recently, I visited Nuraghes at Sardinia, the Tombs of Giants, as they are called locally. It is an interesting place with magic energy. There is a museum located near one of the Nuraghes. It’s a very small exhibition, mostly supported by the local community. BUT! They are using modern VR technology to put you in the world of the real Nuraghes, showing how they looked ages ago. I had a small talk with the director of the museum, and she said a phrase that resonated a lot with me: “We came out of the don’t touch anything era, to touch everything era, and VR helped us. “ I remember our conversation with David W. Sime a few years ago when he predicted that. Now it's happening, and it’s very inspiring! It’s a prequel to the new enterprise story, which I missed publishing today. But it will come. 😊
