Regardless of your performance on any given day, there are two crucial tasks you need to prioritize daily: - Fulfilling your primary sales responsibilities. - Engaging in seeding activities to upsell or prospect new opportunities. The value you provide to your clients reflects your mindset and approach. A smart salesperson effectively manages and guides their client interactions, ensuring the deliverability and feasibility of their products. Just as a salesperson has ongoing pipelines in mind, clients also remember their commitments, even if they're not always explicit. Your role is to nurture these seeds until they are ready for closure. The more robust your pipeline, the less intensive your workload becomes, enabling you to meet or exceed your targets more efficiently. The challenge often lies in structuring pricing, creating compelling presentations, analyzing data, and understanding client personas effectively. Market dynamics are constantly evolving, and we must adapt to stay competitive, appealing to local preferences to secure business. There’s no harm in selling products with a wide price range, from $1 to $1000. Empathy towards your company, clients, and employees is key.
