One of the Aquatic Invasive Species to keep an eye out for while you #CleanDrainDry this summer, is Curly-leaf Pondweed (Potamogeton crispus). This aquatic plant can spread through tiny fragments transported on fish or boats. Once established in a waterbody, Curly Pondweed forms dense mats that inhibit native species growth and can even impede recreational activities.
