The Power of Emotional Support and Genuine Listening 💙 "We often underestimate the immense impact of emotional support. Being present for someone during their lowest, rawest moments is one of the most beautiful and meaningful acts you can offer. To truly understand another person’s struggles and to create a safe space where they feel comfortable sharing their messiest, most complex emotions is a gift—one that should never be taken for granted. Vulnerability takes strength, and revealing hidden parts of oneself requires immense trust. Kindness, in its purest form, is a powerful form of intelligence. It involves listening without judgment, without advice, and without comparing experiences. It means absorbing their words, validating their feelings, and simply being there. Sometimes, just being a genuine, empathetic presence is enough to be the reason someone begins to heal. 💫" #EmotionalSupport #KindnessMatters #HealingTogether #BePresent #ListenWithLove #EmpathyFirst #MentalHealthMatters #StrengthInVulnerability #CompassionateListening #SafeSpace #SupportEachOther #PowerOfPresence

I have been someone who cares a lot about emotions and emotional well-being! 🌸 This post is from 2015, where my younger self shared what emotions are, why they are important and what they are capable of making a person do or not do! 💡 This reaffirms my belief that naming emotions , recognising them especially the negative ones help in finding the righ path to tackle them!🙌 In this fast paced world, it’s important not to ignore myriad of emotions that we go through! #acknowledgeemotions #emotionalwellbeing #worldmentalhealthsay #emotionsasfriends #givewordstoyouremotions

The Power of Empathy: Understanding and Support 🤔Have you ever felt like no one understands your pain? Like you're alone in your struggles? Often we say "You won't understand" or "You will only know where it hurts if you're wearing the shoes." But an Empath says, "I understand. I'm here for you." 🌻An Empath is someone who can put themselves in your shoes, who can understand your feelings, and serve as a friend who gets it. 🌻 They're always there to make you feel happy and safe, and to understand why you feel the way you do. 🌻 They listen attentively, giving you their undivided attention, and manage their emotions to respond accordingly. 🌻An Empath can bring down a mountain to an ant hill, making the overwhelming feel manageable. They say, "Don't worry, I got you." And in that moment, you feel seen, heard, and understood. With empathy, we can build bridges of understanding and connection. We can create a world where everyone feels supported and cared for. So let's embrace empathy and spread it far and wide. What's the way you can show empathy to someone in your life today? #UnderstandAndSupport #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthMatters #Activelistening #BeAnAlly #HumanConnection

Fear. It’s real. Even when there is no danger, fear can influence our thoughts and our feelings. It shapes our behaviour. Fear. A False Emotion Appearing Real (as one of my teachers Pauline Nguyen once shared), can present differently for different people. So, soften your heart and connect with compassion. Try to connect with what you can't outwardly see in others (and yourself). Try to see beyond the surface and appreciate the unseen battles that everyone is facing. When we see through a lens of compassion, we’re more likely to create genuine emotional connections – which is what we are neurologically designed for. A little kindness can go a long way. #compassion #mentalhealth #selfalignment #connection

5 things I have noticed about 'the voice' , ' the ego', 'the chatter' or whatever else you want to call that constant dialogue you can hear. 1. It repeatedly says the same stuff, even when there is no evidence to support it. 2. It's extremely captivating yet boring and repetitive. 3. When it is wrong it will never ever admit it or say it is sorry. 4. It is very destructive and won't stop no matter what. 5. It is fuelled by the energy and attention given to it. #livedexperience #mentalhealth #eatingdisorders

Empathy, Compassion, & Toxic Positivity Empathy: Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings and perspectives of another person.. When we practice empathy, we are better able to relate to others and offer genuine support and understanding. Compassion: Compassion goes beyond empathy; it is the genuine desire to alleviate someone's suffering or distress. When we feel compassion, we are moved to take positive actions to help others, offering comfort and assistance in times of need. Toxic Positivity: Sometimes people say, "Always be happy!" but that's not good advice. It's like telling someone they can only eat ice cream every day, and that's not healthy! We need to be able to express all our feelings, even the not-so-happy ones, like feeling scared before a test or sad after saying goodbye to a friend. It's important to let ourselves feel all our emotions. Emotions can be like big waves in the ocean while emotional regulation is like learning to surf those waves! It's finding ways to calm yourself down when you're too excited or finding ways to cheer yourself up when you're feeling down. For example, if you're feeling angry, you might take some deep breaths or count to ten to help yourself feel better. Remember, emotions are a natural and important part of being human. They help us understand ourselves and others better. So, it's okay to feel all kinds of feelings, and it's good to talk to someone you trust if you need help. #Kavach

Your feelings matter and having so-called negative feelings doesn't make you a downer. Remember, talking about your feelings helps you to take control of your emotions, allows you to acknowledge your feelings, and develops emotional awareness. #EmotionalAwareness
