Check the university’s website regularly! 2. Government Scholarships: Both the Indian and Canadian governments provide scholarships that can significantly alleviate financial burdens. Keep an eye on government scholarship portals! 3. Professor Scholarships: Building a relationship with professors can open doors to funding opportunities through research grants or specific scholarships they may offer. 4. A recent survey by Oxford International Education Services, highlights the U.S. as the "preferred" study destination for Indian students. With 69% of Indian students placing the U.S. at the top of their list, surpassing the UK, Canada, and Australia, this is a trend that warrants a deeper look. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭-𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲? Quality education and the prestige of U.S. universities are evidently powerful draws. But it's not just about the brand of education. It's about the promise that students perceive in these educational experiences. While the U.S. leads among Indian students, majority of Nigerian students are leaning towards Canada, with its reputation for welcoming policies and multicultural environment. Interestingly, despite recent policy shifts aimed at attracting more students, Australia remains the least preferred among the big four destinations for both Indian and Nigerian students. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲? One size does not fit all. Each student brings a unique set of aspirations, priorities, and concerns. Recognizing and responding to these will be crucial in shaping a more responsive, inclusive, and student-centered international education sector. #CareerMosaic #StudentRecruitment #InternationalEducation #StudentMobility #HigherEd #GlobalEd The PIE Sophie Hogan Mohit Gambir
