In encouraging news, 30% of the world’s electricity is now generated from renewable energy sources like solar and wind — and the EU is leading the way. In a report from energy think tank Ember, rapid growth in renewables and technology have brought the world to a historic turning point with fossil fuel starting to decline. A decline in fossil fuel power is now ‘inevitable’, the report says. At SINAI we’re doing all we can to help companies make the transition because it is both ethically and financially sound and smart. Happy Friday folks - did you know that harnessing the oversupply of renewable energy could lead to a potential multibillion euro supply opportunity? The intermittent nature of renewables can lead to a variable supply of electricity but finding ways to use, rather than curtail, the available power could help accelerate the transition toward more widespread electrification, whilst unlocking significant value. Our latest research looks at a merit order of flexible demand options across power, heat, and hydrogen to compare the business cases for different technologies that can utilize this oversupply, and suggests possible solutions that stakeholders can take to unlock untapped value from renewables’ flexible production model. ☀️💧 Exciting #cleanenergy news from Portugal! Between January 1st and March 12th, an impressive 86% of national energy demand was met by renewable sources, with solar and hydroelectric power leading the production. This is an important achievement as we navigate the challenges of the clean energy transition such as high capital costs and supply chain barriers. But the technologies are here and accelerating the uptake of renewables, hence lowering carbon emissions, will generate long-term economical and human health benefits across the world. https://lnkd.in/ddFwHafg #renewables #solarpower #hydroelectric #portugal

Narada is thrilled to share our participation in a significant forum organized by the Brazilian Ministry of Energy and Mines. As the only Chinese energy storage integrator invited, Narada proudly showcased our capabilities and actively engaged in discussions on integrating batteries into Brazil's national energy system. Dyego Barros, representing Narada, highlighted our strengths to government officials, businesses, and industry leaders. The conference, attended by ONS, ANEEL, EPE, and ABSAE, emphasized the crucial role of batteries in Brazil's energy future, particularly in integrating renewable sources like wind, solar, and biomass. Together, we're committed to supporting Brazil's sustainable energy goals and driving forward the global energy revolution! #Narada #Power #EnergyStorage #Brazil #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #Innovation

#Portugal on the road to energy independence, whilst some of this renewable energy maybe still imported, it's the acceleration, deployment and ambition that stands out for one of less wealthy EU nations. Makes you think what the wealthy nations could achieve / should have achieved by now. Monica Troilo ⚡🌏 #cleanenergy #renewableenergy
