Words of wisdom for solo firm owners👇 KEEP YOUR VISION IN MIND & REMEMBER YOUR WHY. I think a lot of people lose sight of why they’re running a business, and it’s understandable! It gets overwhelming because you start this business and then everybody throws things at you. “You should be doing this. You should be using that. You need to do this.” But knowing your WHY helps keep you grounded and focused on your end goal and what you want to accomplish. And that helps drown out all the noise that’s telling you what you “should” be doing. Hear more in Ep 156 🎙️ ➡️ Comment PODCAST for the link to the episode!

In the world of M&A, no one’s going to wake up one day and magically decide to sell their company—or follow your timeline. As Henry Ward, CEO and Co-founder of Carta, puts it: you can’t just sit around waiting for them to feel motivated. They’ve got their own priorities. If you want to get things moving, you need to understand what makes them tick and show them why the deal works for them. That’s how you create momentum. Check out a recent episode of the M&A Science Podcast to hear Henry break it all down: https://hubs.ly/Q02STwsZ0

Your offer is one of the most important parts of your business! When I talk about the "6 different areas of a healthy business" this is one of them. Most business owners throw together an offer and hope it sells out right away without first considering what problem it's solving and for who. When you obsess over solving your ideal clients problems, you start to create an offer that people feel stupid saying no to. Aka, a grand slam offer.
