In fact, a US patent application was created about 10 years ago, covering the concept of: ~ Coast-to-Coast, non-stop drones along power lines ~ Crawling along or near the power lines, above, below, or beside. ~ Drones residing in powerline drone-houses to be a First Responder and other obvious implementations.
