Last weekend, we had a critical conversation about men's mental health with Dinesh Sangroula, MD. Did you know that in 2019, nearly 80% of suicide deaths in the U.S. were among men? According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Violent Death Reporting System and the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, men are more than three times more likely to die by suicide than women, with the highest rates occurring after age 65. These statistics are not just numbers; they represent fathers, sons, brothers, and friends. It's crucial to understand the factors that contribute to these alarming trends. Let's work together to break the stigma. #MensHealth #MentalHealth #SuicidePrevention #SupportEachOther [Link to the study] (https://lnkd.in/e4NvF-Xf)
