Augmented Reality @ Google

Android XR is officially here! Thrilled to see so many developers excited to build immersive experiences. Our platform leverages Gemini AI and conversational, natural interactions at the core. And is built on top of familiar Android tools such as Android Studio and Jetpack Compose and industry standards such as Unity/OpenXR/WebXR. Thank you to the @GoogleARVR team and our incredible partners @SamsungMobile and @Qualcomm and others for making this developer launch possible. #AndroidXR ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gcby2BmB

As a developer, I have quite distrust in Google's new projects. They killed Stadia, Daydream, Tango. How should I trust they do not kill it after one or two years?

Congratulations to everyone at Google, and to partners at Samsung and Qualcomm! This is great news for consumers, for Google, Samsung and Qualcomm, and for the entire industry!

It is my greatest honor to work with you. You are my inspiration 💕

Congrats to you and the team. This is a very big and important step for the long nascent AR/XR glasses industry. Time to take off 😀
