This week is Anti Bullying Week; the theme is 'Choose Respect'. Teachers and children wanted a theme that empowered them to do something positive to counter the harm and hurt that bullying causes. This year, the aim is to empower children and young people to not resort to bullying, even when we disagree and remind adults to lead by example, online and offline. #AntiBullyingWeek #ChooseRespect #AntiBullying #StandUpToBullying #ShamaWomensCentre

This anti-bullying week we’ve been having some great discussions with our young people about their thoughts on bullying. They told us the types of bullying and how they identified them, for example: name calling, leaving people out, and online bullying. They also identified how isolating someone from a group activity is a form of bullying. They shared their experience with bullying and how reaching out and sharing how they feel with someone is important. We are proud of our young people and their willingness to learn and grow, a mindset we should all embrace. 🌱 #oddsockday #oddsockdays #antibullyingweek #antibullyingweek2024 #unique #LearningCulture
