If you decide that the behaviour that your child is experiencing is indeed bullying, then try and get as many details as possible recorded. This is great evidence if needed, will arm you with the knowledge that you are correct and your child will know that you are taking them seriously. Can I add that it doesn’t matter what age your child is, if they are telling you something, even if it sounds small to you, listen as though it’s the most important thing to them…because it is, otherwise they wouldn’t be telling you! Bullying comes in many forms, the psychological and emotional bullying can be much harder to recognise, but the wounds can last a lifetime.
