This is from a discovery call. 💡 Wanted to share because I am going to bet a lot of you might share the same info with me. Use Case: External client/customer training Current Situation: 🚫 No learning management system in place. 👨🏫 Training is done ad hoc. 📈 They realise if they want to scale this product they will need to put a system in place. They want to make sure clients are getting the most use out of the product which will increase usage and engagement. This will hopefully shorten the time to value of the product and increase sales. 😣 Pain points: Current process is very manual and won’t be scalable moving forward. A lot of training over zoom. Do your people sit through these kinds of training?! I know onboarding is tough, you have to train newcomers how to use office equipment... but onboarding begins when all the equipment is already there and works well. Gallup Q12/Q1 :) Learning systems mostly can't provide matched learning to the needs, as lacking science-backed, research-based assessments for needs analysis and design. You install the system, and people force-use it. Measurable benefits and sustainable positive results are missing. You want people to be inspired by learning, but they are overloaded and overwhelmed and don't understand how your learning system will improve their lives and numbers without extreme effort. Show them their personal and team results, and their potential, they are interested in that. Show them the path to improve their numbers, to reach their potential. Don't provide learning to treat the symptoms, it is burning lots of calories, time, and trust, as problems will return. Provide learning to treat the disease itself.
