A Teacher's Legacy: From Student to Startup Jury & Guest Lecturer at ICEIL 2024! Ever had a moment that makes you stop in your tracks, grin, and feel like the universe just clicked into place? That’s exactly how I felt recently at Amity University’s ICEIL 2024. I was invited to deliver a lecture to some of the brightest young minds. Even more exhilarating? I had the honor of judging over 50+ ambitious startups at the startup expo, helping shape the future of innovation. But the real magic of this moment lay in who invited me. Dr. Reena Singh — one of the prime names behind the event. She was my teacher, 12 years ago. Life just hit “full circle” in the most extraordinary way. There’s a special kind of joy when someone who once molded your path now calls on you to inspire and mentor the next generation. But here’s the thing about teachers like Dr. Singh—they don’t just teach. They champion your success for life. They quietly watch from the sidelines, waiting for the right moment to nudge you forward, ensuring no dream is too far, no achievement overlooked. This invite wasn’t just a proud moment for me—it was a powerful reminder that the teachers who believe in us never stop being our cheerleaders. Their support transcends time, classrooms, and degrees. Their purpose? To see their students thrive, rise, and impact the world. Dr. Singh, I can’t thank you enough. You saw potential in me all those years ago, and here we are today, walking this journey together from a whole new vantage point. This wasn’t just an invitation—it was a gift. Here’s to full-circle moments, teachers who never let go, and students who strive to make them proud every step of the way. #FullCircle #MentorshipMatters #TeacherForLife #ICEIL2024 #EntrepreneurshipJourney #SublimeBySeven #Gratitude . It was an incredible experience attending the latest session of the Entrepreneurship Development Program, conducted by the JECRC Incubation Centre. Our esteemed speaker, Mr. Ayush Singhal, Co-founder of CodeMate®, delivered valuable insights that left a lasting impression on me. Here’s what I took away from the session: Age Doesn’t Matter Mr. Ayush emphasized that age is just a number—it’s your mindset that truly defines your potential. Whether you’re 16 or 60, your dreams don’t have an expiry date. Success stems from passion, persistence, and a willingness to learn rather than the number of candles on your birthday cake. His words inspired me to see age as an advantage rather than a constraint, and to start chasing my dreams without hesitation. Hackathons: Beyond Just Coding He highlighted that hackathons are more than intense coding sessions. They are a space for innovation, collaboration, and challenging the limits of what's possible. Within 24-48 hours, you have the opportunity to turn ideas into reality, sharpen your skills, and connect with peers who share the same passion. Win or lose, the real reward lies in the journey, the experiences gained, and the networks built. Keep Exploring, Keep Growing Ayush sir's words on pushing boundaries resonated deeply. He stressed the importance of constantly seeking new opportunities and stepping out of our comfort zones. According to him, confidence is built through experiences and embracing the unknown. He encouraged us to approach life with curiosity and courage, reminding us that each step forward is a journey towards unlocking our true potential. Thank you so much, Ayush Singhal sir, for such an enlightening session! It has truly broadened my perspective and inspired me to take action. #Entrepreneurship #JecrcUniversity #AyushSinghal #KeepExploringKeepGrowing #Learning

Sharing hard-earned knowledge and experiences with the youth is a crucial responsibility. By integrating experiential learning and practical examples, we can significantly enhance our impact and facilitate meaningful knowledge transformation. Consider how companies like Google and IBM use mentorship programs to nurture talent and foster innovation, showing the effectiveness of such approaches. As someone deeply committed to youth empowerment, I am honored to join the 2nd Takhleeq Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge (TiEC’24) as a judge. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club UCP, in collaboration with the Takhleeq Business Incubator, is organizing TiEC’24. This exciting intra-university competition at the University of Central Punjab (UCP) is designed to foster creativity and innovation among students. Open to all UCP students, it encourages participants to develop and pitch their innovative ideas, offering a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in entrepreneurship. Events like TiEC’24 are invaluable. They incorporate healthy competition among students and future business leaders, much like how hackathons and innovation challenges in the corporate world spark creativity and collaboration. For instance, companies like Microsoft host annual hackathons where employees can pitch and develop new ideas, leading to real-world applications and business solutions. These competitions should be held both inter and intra-university to promote entrepreneurial passion and foster a startup culture. They help students gain self-confidence and evolve into passionate future business leaders. Innovation and entrepreneurship are the keys to economic revolution and essential for survival in today’s competitive world. Look at how Tesla’s continuous innovation in electric vehicles has not only revolutionized the auto industry but also inspired countless startups. Thank you, Mr. Faizan Khalid, Director of Takhleeq Business Incubator, and the entire organizing team for this incredible opportunity. I look forward to contributing to this dynamic event and witnessing the groundbreaking ideas from University Of Central Punjab (UCP) students. #YouthEmpowerment #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #TiEC2024 #BusinessGrowth #UCPCommunity #Mentorship #SkillDevelopment #ProfessionalGrowth https://lnkd.in/dWYNx_kp

There are a lot of insights to unpack about 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩. But one thing’s for sure: 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭. You have to solve a problem with it and you have to have a market to sell it to. No idea how to do that? ---2024年04月30日, Tuesday @ 16:17 EST--- 🍎 Will you help us shift student stress to student success? 🍎 Hey, Linkedin fam! 👋🏿 My two fantastic co-founders - Heath Rutledge-Jukes and William Kelly - and I are hard at working on building King of the Curve (KOTC), an up-and-coming educational platform that aims to help students study for high-stakes standardized tests (like the MCAT, the NCLEX, etc.) in an engaging, accessible, and intelligent way. We're asking for your help, and we can't do this without ya! *What's the ask, AP?* Good question. There's a startup competition that's going on, from April 29 to May 3: the Startup World Cup, that is! (LINK: https://lnkd.in/eSgubUax) Here it is: "The Startup World Cup is the largest global startup conference and pitch competition where 70+ cities send their champion team to the San Francisco Grand Finale, to compete for a $1,000,000 investment prize." So, wanna do this together? We can't shake up education without y'all. :) VOTE HERE! You can make a difference in the world, and all you have to do is click the link below and scroll down to vote for my friend AndrewPaul (AP) McIntosh and his mates who are trying to lower the barrier to entry for becoming a medical student. There's a startup competition that's going on, from April 29 to May 3: the Startup World Cup! (LINK: https://lnkd.in/eSgubUax) The winner of this startup will receive $1 million in funding, but even if they don’t win they will receive visibility and more opportunities to spread their mission. They don’t need any money. They don’t need anything other than your vote. You don’t need to make an account. You only need to click the link and scroll down to King of the Curve. You can check out their pitch, learn about their company, and give them a vote by clicking on the vote now button. Just 15 seconds of your time! Do you think we have enough young people who want to become doctors and work in the medical field now? The truth is that it is hard and it is a long road, and less and less young people are pursuing this path every day. We have a shortage of doctors and the ones that are available are overworked. Please. If you have just 30 seconds, share their post, or leave a vote, or tell a friend! They are trying to make the world a better place. 🌎 🩺 #medicalstudents #growth #MCAT #health #startup #help
