The Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP), often referred to as the "morning-after pill," is a type of medication designed to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure. Its use is widespread globally as a critical option for preventing unintended pregnancies in emergencies. Here's why it's important: 1. Prevents pregnancy after unprotected sex. 2. Works when regular birth control fails. 3. Safe and easy to use. 4. Gives control over your choices. 5. Helps after sexual assault. 6. Reduces the need for abortions. Take the ECP as soon as possible after unprotected sex. It works best within 24 hours but can still help up to 72 hours (3 days). ⚠ Talk to your doctor for advice and guidance. #contraception #protection #jordanpharmacy

The I-Pill can help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. It's most effective within 24 hours, but can still be helpful up to 72 hours (3 days). Important to Remember: While effective within 72 hours, the sooner you take the I-Pill, the better. If more than 3 days have passed, consult a doctor before taking the I-Pill or for alternative options. The I-Pill is for emergencies, not a replacement for regular birth control methods. Doesn't Protect Against STIs. Use condoms for complete protection from sexually transmitted infections. Remember, while the I-Pill is available over-the-counter, consulting a healthcare professional is always recommended for personalized guidance. #ipill #birthcontrol #contraception #contraceptives #sexualhealth #sexed #reproductivehealth #iPill #emergencycontraceptivepill #contraceptivepill #menstrualhealth #healthcare #ligohealthcenter #ligo #ligowomenscare&fertilitycenter #ligowomenscare #ligofertilitycenter

Despite the wealth of options available today, many individuals still face confusion or stigma when it comes to choosing the right contraceptive method. Let’s break it down: 📍Contraception is personal: What works for one person may not work for another. Understanding your body, lifestyle, and health needs is key. 📍Knowledge is power: From pills to implants, IUDs to condoms, each method has its benefits and considerations. Educating yourself,or seeking guidance from a healthcare professional and ensure you make informed choices. 📍Stigma has no place here: Conversations about contraception should be open, judgment-free, and based on facts. When we demystify contraception, we create a world where people feel confident and empowered to prioritize their sexual and reproductive health. PS: Let’s normalize these discussions and encourage informed decisions for a healthier, more empowered society. What steps can we take to make contraception conversations more inclusive and accessible? #Contraception #HealthChoices #ReproductiveHealth #SexualHealth #HealthEducation #PassionateComplete

Why is it Safe to Have Sex When Pregnant The most common belief when it comes to sex when pregnant is that having penetrative sex with the phallus will harm the baby or that the baby will be aware that its parents are engaged in acts of intimacy and self-pleasure of one another’s genitalia. It is a total myth that people engaging in sexual activity during pregnancy would harm the baby.
