A very interesting and useful post from Enikő.
How do you support your mental health in your busy work life? 🌟 Actually it was also a question at #Continental #GlobalAmbassadorConvention last week, we shared our ideas and examples with the participants. Work-life balance is more than just a buzzword; it's essential for maintaining our mental health and overall well-being. Taking time to unwind and engage in activities we love, like walking our furry friends in nature, can significantly reduce stress and increase happiness. 🌲🐶 Here's why work-life balance is crucial: Reduces Stress: Stepping away from work helps to clear your mind and lower stress levels. Boosts Productivity: Taking breaks can actually make you more productive when you return to work. Improves Relationships: Spending quality time with loved ones strengthens your personal connections. Enhances Health: Regular downtime can improve your physical health and mental clarity. This weekend, I enjoyed a peaceful walk in the forest with my dog, and I highly recommend it! It's a refreshing way to recharge and find balance. 🌳✨ #WorkLifeBalance #MentalHealth #SelfCare #NatureTherapy

Work-Life Balance: More Than Just a Myth? As a physiotherapist, I see many friends, patients, aquaintances and sometimes myself struggling with burnout, mental health issues, and physical strain - all linked to poor work-life balance, professional and personal issues. Let's face it: taking two days off doesn't always sounds realistic like corporate employees, especially for new entrepreneurs or startup founders. But here's the thing: ignoring your mental and emotional well-being will catch up with you sooner or later. The Escape Mechanism Are you working excessive hours to distract yourself from mental health concerns? I've seen it happen. It's crucial to recognize the pattern and seek support from loved ones or from a professional. Break the Cycle As a healthcare professional, I urge you to prioritize self-care: Take short breaks throughout the day. Schedule time for exercise, meditation, or hobbies. Set realistic boundaries (yes, that means saying no!) Nurture relationships with friends and family. New Entrepreneurs, Listen Up! Initial chaos is understandable, but don't let burnout become a habit. Make time for yourself, even if it's just 30 minutes a day. Let's make work-life balance a reality, not just a myth! #WorkLifeBalance #MentalHealthMatters #SelfCare #Physiotherapy #Wellness

Remember to take time for yourself today and every day 🧠 💜 In aid of World Mental Health Day, it's important for us to understand that achieving a healthy work-life balance and prioritising yourself every once in a while is essential. We're all guilty of taking work home. Sometimes its necessary, but when you start to prioritise work over your health, then it is time to take a step back and remember to look after your mind and body. Useful Steps Below: ✨𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞- At the end of the day, ensure you've established a plan for the following day, along with things that you want to achieve. This allows you to wind down for the evening and feel refreshed, planned and ready to hit the ground running the next morning! ✨𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬- Set clear working hours! It's so easy for us in the recruitment industry to take our work home, whether it be an extra candidate call or a LinkedIn message. But when you find yourself working for hours on end once the work day is done, how can you rest and reset for the next day? ✨𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲- Healthy body = healthy mind! If you feel like the stress of work is becoming overwhelming and you can't shake it off, try physical activity to boost endorphins and clear your mind! ✨𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞- This allows your mind to unwind and reset. Constant exposure to screens, especially social media or work related emails, can increase stress & anxiety. By cutting back on screen time, you give your brain a break from overstimulation- leading to better emotional well-being! Any other ideas that spring to mind - I'd love to hear! 👇👇👇 #WorldMentalHealthDay #WMHD #Healthymind #Worklifebalance
