✖ Do not glorify working late. ✖ Do not glorify a workaholic nature. ✖ Do not glorify skipping meals for meetings. ✖ Do not glorify sacrificing weekends for deadlines. ✖ Do not glorify ignoring family for work commitments. It is crucial to accept and prevent yourself from burnout. Prioritize your well-being and work towards a balanced life. Remember, a healthy work-life balance leads to sustained productivity, better mental health, and a happier, more fulfilling life. I agree with all of this. We've somehow fallen into a culture of too much hustle. You can work really hard and accomplish a lot without sacrificing your mental health and personal life. In fact, I'm always more impressed by people who seem to strike the perfect work-life balance.
It's refreshing to see this reminder. Prioritizing well-being shouldn't be an afterthought but a fundamental aspect of success.
I've heard people brag about not going to the bathroom too. Not healthy IMO.
Great share
Love this Sonali, I’ll add one too ❌ Do not glorify saying you are busy. Everyone is lolol 😁
Sending so much love to you for such a brilliant, succinct, kind message! Thank you, Sonali for the wonderful reminder!

7moYou raise such an important point about the dangers of glorifying an unhealthy work-obsessed culture. Your call to prioritize self-care, set boundaries, and strive for a sustainable work-life equilibrium is spot on. How can we collectively redefine societal notions of "hustle" and promote healthier ideals around taking purposeful rejuvenation periods? True success stems from caring for our entire self, not just our career outputs. This perspective empowers us all to thrive sustainably.
