Organisations like ours (Aspire NI) rely on the kindness & generosity of individuals and businesses to help fund and continue our work. But opportunities like this, where community funding is available, helps inject some much needed funds to grow the work we do. As it stands, we work in 29 schools across Northern Ireland, with over 350 young people each week. Our next goal is to work with over 1000 young people every week. To do this, we need to hire more in-school session facilitators. To do that, we need more cash available. Funds like this help us move closer to that goal. Would you consider nominating Aspire for the AIB Community fund? It takes 2 mins to complete the nomination.
We would love if you take 2-3 mins to nominate us for the AIB community fund. Nominations close 12th of June so we are into the last couple of weeks of nominations. Simply copy the following link into your browser - https://lnkd.in/eNNsfi2W and Use our name and Charity number referenced in the graphic on this post. Help us out in raising valuable funds for the work of Aspire in schools across Northern Ireland.

How generous are people in your area? How many donated last year? How generous are people in your area compared to local incomes? Now in its 20th year, UK Giving has for the first time taken more than 13,000 responses collected from the public during 2023 and used a statistical model to project its results to all 650 UK parliamentary constituencies, revealing the country’s donor hubs for the first time. Our interactive map lets you explore these results, showing you how many people in your area donated in 2023, how much your local area donated as a whole, and how generous people in your area are – compared to local incomes. https://lnkd.in/eWZfeUfy

We are thrilled to now have the largest portfolio of charity collaborations, with just over 10% of our research projects including a charity or third-sector organisation. One charity partnership we are particularly proud of this year is our Accelerated Knowledge Transfer (AKT) project with Changing Lives Community Services, a Non-Profit Community Interest Company that provides access to physical activity, and through sports aims to prevent children and young people from getting involved in anti-social behaviour and gang-related activity. As part of this, they run Changing Lives FC, who are seeing the first-hand positive effect taking part in competitive sport has on migrants, asylum seekers and refugees, but needed a way to demonstrate this impact. They partnered with Chris McManus from Essex’s School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Science, who looked at their wellbeing and the impact football had on their lives. This partnership won this year's Big Impact Award at our Celebration of Innovation 2024 and has delivered a robust report for Changing Lives to present to future potential funders for the charity. Watch how the project played out below! 📍https://lnkd.in/eTipvzNR

Collaboration across sectors creates innovations, learning together and networking. It allows for enhanced understanding across sectors which builds relationships and better working practices. WeCops is an excellent example of this!
What a team!!! We’ve grown so much since we mixed private, public and charity sectors - this is a lesson I’ve learnt and will remain with me! #WeCops Check out our new website, www.wecops.uk - we’re nearly ready to go 💪👍 WeCops Daniel Reynolds Katy Barrow-Grint Charlotte Hails MSc Stephen Rotherham Chris Excell BSc (Hons) Dr Emma Williams Kerri Monaghan

It's that time of year again! Looking for a charitable giving opportunity this holiday season? Consider making a donation to the Foundation for Shared Impact (FSI) Annual Holiday Fundraiser. Many people know about our shared impact community in Hong Kong. But did you know that we also have community members across Asia and Africa? Every year we ask these colleagues to submit project ideas aimed at supporting the underprivileged in their local communities. This year we have identified projects in the Philippines, Kenya, Egypt, and Indonesia. All projects will be overseen by our team members on the ground, so you can rest assured that every cent will go toward the project deliverables. The more we raise the more of these types of projects we can implement, so please consider making a small contribution. And let us know if your company, school, church group, etc., would like to learn more or even work with our partners to develop your own bespoke giving opportunity. #sharedimpact https://lnkd.in/gxqDUfmP Adnan Riaz TC Li Jon Pedersen Vivian Seo Andrea Xinyu Qi Oliver Spensley SANJUKTA MUKHERJEE Leontine Chuang Claudia Anticona Mandy Yeung Vivek Kumar Dina Pesumal Lucia Loposova

Great when businesses step up
Business Development Manager for Jarrold Group 👩🏼💻 I Scaling New Heights in Business I Non-Executive Director at CADAT
I've been looking forward to supporting Claire Abbs from Green Light Trust with running this event with them in April at Blickling Estate and today it just got even more exciting as James Fowler from Uptech Ltd has kindly offered to sponsor the event to allow Members and Non-Members to attend for free. #kind Thank you so much! These events are a great way for charities like GLT to showcase their hard work and a nice way for the business community to come together and network in the outdoors. You will probably need your wellies as let's face it, it probably isn't going to stop raining 😂 Hope to see you there - https://lnkd.in/e38y4CJg
