The Medicare revalidation extension, while welcome, highlights a deeper challenge in our industry - the delicate balance between necessary oversight and operational efficiency in skilled nursing facilities. Having worked through similar regulatory shifts, I appreciate CMS's intent for transparency, but the ambiguity around disclosure requirements and concerns over MAC processing capacity deserve careful consideration. It's refreshing to see both for-profit and non-profit operators united in advocating for clearer guidance while maintaining their commitment to resident care.
