Wardwizard Innovations Develops Customized Electric Three-Wheeler for Philippines India’s Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited (WIML) has developed a customized electric three-wheeler as part of a significant USD 1.29 billion order from Beulah International Development Corporation. The vehicle, known as the e-Trike (Driver + 10), is designed to enhance public transportation in the Philippines and has been dispatched for testing. As part of its efforts to support the Philippine Government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP), Wardwizard will also send other electric vehicles for testing in the Philippines in February 2025. Vital EV and Spirii join forces to help electrify truck sector. Vital EV Solutions has partnered with Danish software provider Spirii to accelerate the electrification of the truck sector. Through Spirii's Occulus charge management portal, fleet managers can open their charging network to the public, reducing the financial burden by creating an alternative revenue stream. This collaboration increases the availability of HGV-accessible public charging points, crucial for the growing European electric truck market, projected to reach 400,000 registrations annually by 2030. In the UK, diesel truck sales up to 26t will be banned by 2035, extending to all weight categories by 2040. Despite the higher cost of electric trucks, estimated to be triple that of diesel counterparts, concerns over the expense of ultra-rapid EV chargers for their larger batteries persist among truck operators.
