Last week I joined the ITFS in Seville, Spain (https://lnkd.in/ebTqyUtr) to reflect on TOPIC Embedded Systems efforts in the domain of precision timing in networked environments with other developers and researchers. The relevance appears to be high as I recognised the issues our customers are facing in the conducted presentations. Great to see that our view on solutions are shared by many. Security, safety, measurement accuracy, power consumption, distributed computing, it is all depending on synchronised time. Love to share my experiences and discuss my thoughts on this subject. Next year Prague? #ITSF2024 #precisiontiming #embeddedsystems

Congratulations to Nils Rodday (DACS&CODE), Aiko Pras (DACS) and Roland van Rijswijk-Deij (DACS) for winning the Best Paper Award at IFIP NOMS 2024! The paper, entitled “Exploring the Benefit of Path Plausibility Algorithms in BGP” explores how different deployment models for recently developed routing security techniques can improve the security of the inter-domain routing system of the Internet. Comparing Autonomous System Provider Authorization (ASPA) to AS Cones, the paper demonstrates how incremental deployment strategies (e.g., uniform, tier 1 providers first, …) lead to an overall improvement in routing security. A key conclusion of the work is that both ASPA and AS Cones can significantly improve routing security even if they are only partially deployed. The paper lead by dr. Nils Rodday was co-authored with Gabi Dreo Rodosek (UniBW), Aiko Pras (UT/DACS) and prof. Roland van Rijswijk-Deij (UT/DACS). https://lnkd.in/dGtTcrq3

Proud to be one of the first AVSs on EigenLayer! Eigen Labs and Sreeram Kannan are pioneering the first market for decentralized trust: the verifiable cloud and AVSs are the verifiable SaaS. What truly sets EigenLayer apart is its ability to let projects integrate Ethereum's trust and security into their infrastructure, without the need to build it from scratch. For those already exploring liquid staking, definitely consider looking into restaking. There’s a whole new layer of potential waiting for you out there ;)
🎉Announcing our first wave of Eigen Labs AVSs! 🎖Delegate to the Chorus One Operator to secure EigenDA [onboarded], Brevis [onboarded], Eoracle Network, Witness Chain, AltLayer, Lagrange, Ethos and many more! ⚓️Delegate your restake easily via: ✅OPUS Pool: https://lnkd.in/enDWJ5KU OR ✅EigenLayer: https://lnkd.in/e4AjUbNC Learn more about our curated selection of AVSs: https://lnkd.in/eztq4JF3
