We continue to discuss what AI will do in the HR Space, but not allow the the poor soul to perform work. Why don't we still see AI talking to candidates (when they apply for a position) and instantly evaluate if they will be considered or not and provide instant feedback? 🤷♂️ AI can save time for all and avoid people ghosting people. There is no point in having someone apply if you are stringent about the experience, industry, gender, and more. Let the AI take away the pain of you saying No to them, and give them ease by saying No and not keeping them hanging. #AI #artificalintelligence #candidateexperience #designthinking #talentacquisition #humanresourcemanagement

As recruiters, we bring a level of human judgment and understanding that AI tools lack. We better assess cultural fit and soft skills, something AI can't evaluate accurately. 🤝 However, AI should not be seen as a problem but rather as part of the solution. 💡 It's here to assist and enhance the recruitment process, not to replace the human element. I recently came across a thought-provoking idea that we might soon distinguish between life before the advent of AI and life after, with fundamental changes on the horizon. I've found myself pondering how this shift will impact our line of work. There's no doubt that AI will offer numerous ways to assist us in our functions, yet I firmly believe the human factor will remain essential to truly excel in our roles. It reminds me of the early 1800s, when many people were initially terrified of the first steam trains—a groundbreaking advancement in transportation that literally changed the world. Many saw it as the devil's work, fearing the unknown. Yet, look how far we've come in embracing that technology looking at today’s awesome highspeed trains. I believe we'll see a similar trajectory with AI.

To my knowledge, this is a world first for a GenAI-native HR tech product. Popp AI demonstrated exceptional fairness in a recent bias audit, achieving scores of 95.7% and 96.3% based on 1,180 samples (for gender) and 2,360 samples (for ethnicity) respectively. The evaluation was performed by Warden AI. Generative AI, when applied to recruitment, is one of the most powerful technologies to simulate how a human may interpret and analyse unstructured information about a candidate. However, generative models are marred by bias inherited from the large datasets on which they are trained. At Popp, we implement measures to both mitigate bias and be transparent about our approach. That's why we’ve partnered with Jeffrey and Eduard from Warden AI to continuously monitor and improve our product's Robustness, Bias and Fairness. The results of these audits are published publicly, and can be viewed in our AI Trust Centre (see comments for the link). We are working tirelessly to constantly improve our methodology to get as close to 100% as possible in all categories. Less bias, infinite scale.
