Aspect ratio plays a crucial role in the creative process, going beyond mere cropping. It's about storytelling and tailoring the viewing experience for different environments—be it a cinema, IMAX, or home setting. Filmmakers with a technical mindset tend to grasp this concept fully. Better done than perfect. 🎥 Slowly, it's been 6 years since I first held a camera in my hands, 4 years since I edited my first video, and since then, I've been increasingly drawn into every step of filmmaking. My teacher, like for so many others, was the internet and my immeasurable perfectionism, perhaps this is also why I never feel successful after shooting. The editing process is different because it's when I come face to face with the fact that regardless of content problems caused by a lack of resources, carelessness, or simply uninspired moments, the most important is the end result. And often, you can turn a mistake into a virtue. 💯 The following video is my first so-called short film. 🎬 The idea is old, the execution is far from perfect, I took on most roles in the credits myself, but in the end, it took on an acceptable form.
