23-26 September is the Water Tech Europe Week in Leeuwarden (Netherlands) and we are part of the programme this edition! 🤩 Project partners Wetsus, European Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology, New Energy Coalition, DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Heriot-Watt University and Coval Energy will share insights on #CO2 capture, regeneration and utilisation using a brand new pilot built (on the picture 👇 ) by the #ConsenCUS project. Our innovative system is using only #electricity to #capture and #convert CO2 into usefull products. A few weeks ago, on behalf of HyLab - CoLAB, I had the opportunity to attend the Spring School promoted by the European projects eGHOSTProject and SH2EProject and organised by IMDEA Energy in Madrid. These were really interesting and fruitful days, where I had the opportunity to learn more about Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment and Eco-Design applied to hydrogen systems, as well as specific innovative guidelines and tools. #greenhydrogen #LCSA #ecodesign

What does the UP-TO-ME project aim to achieve? The project has several objectives that will contribute to the overall success of the UP-TO-ME. Some core objectives of the project include: ✔ The fully automated UP-TO-ME technology will run for at least 300 hours ✔ To produce at least 100 litres of methanol using the UP-TO-ME technology ✔ The produced fuel will reduce harmful emissions by 90% ✔ Reduction of the CO2 capture energy requirements of the integrated process by at least 30% compared to conventional amine-based CO2 capture These are just a few of the core objectives of the project. 📣 CETIM will participate in the second edition of ‘European Process Industry Conference’! 💧 Rebeca Varela Figueroa, European Projects Office Manager at CETIM, will present our project RESURGENCE heu in the session ‘Circularity of Resources’, which will take place on the 23rd of October from 15:40.
