"How do you know if this is going to work?" It's the question every marketer gets. And when I asked Jon Tsourakis, his answer was simple but profound: "What is your right to win?" Success isn't guaranteed by just following the playbook. It depends on how distinct your product or service is. Can it cut through the competition? Is it truly different, or is it just another commodity in a saturated market? If you're bold enough to innovate and stand out, your chances of success increase dramatically. But if you blend in, even the best marketing will have a tough time saving you. So, before asking if it will work, ask yourself: What’s your right to win? Remember, marketing is the amplifier, but your right to win is the melody—are you playing it loud enough? #marketing #toolazyforapodcast

Marketing isn’t what you think it is 👀 Most small business owners make this costly mistake: Thinking promoting is the same thing as marketing 🙅♀️ If your “marketing” strategy is: ✔️ Posting about your services ✔️ Listing out the details & features of what’s included ✔️ Sharing the link to buy …I’ve got news for you, bestie: That’s promotion, NOT marketing 😬 And it ain’t gonna lead to sales. Here’s the truth👇 Promotion is just telling people what you sell. Marketing is making them CARE enough to buy. 🔥 Good marketing shows: ✨ How your offer solves their real-life problems & why they need what you offer ✨ That YOU are the one they can trust to guide them ✨ What their life will look like after working with you 💡 People don’t buy because of the details—they buy because they feel understood and trust you will solve their problem. So if you’re frustrated that you’re not getting clients, ask yourself: Are you just promoting? Or are you building trust, connection, and desire? 😘 🔖 SAVE & REPOST if this made you think differently about marketing 💡 xo, Emilee “The Brand Genie” 💗 🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮 #marketing #brandmarketer #marketingstrategist

More business owners need to understand that marketing is the oxygen to their business. Without marketing your business is just lifeless. Sitting there dead and not alive. Believe in yourself! Reality is happening in everyone's marketing budget right now, but that still doesn't give you the right to sell yourself short. Create Your Fate ✅

Maybe I’m just too close to it and it seems obvious to me? I'm asked all the time by Advisors trying to decide if they should start marketing: "Not sure if it's worth it or not?" Here’s the best explanation I’ve got: If you want to grow your business above and beyond where it stands today and today’s current growth rate; What are you doing to make that happen? Are you top of mind with the people that you want to do business with when they’re ready to do business? 👆 This game is very simple, however getting it right is hard. If you have a great service and are putting the right message in front of the right people, consistently, you will succeed. If one or more of those is out of whack, you can struggle. Bottom line.
