There are a few things I could never distill- The color violet. The color blue. The amount of light that makes all the difference between the colors violet and blue. Carrying house keys to school and feeling important. Not wanting to become a doctor. The feeling of a woman entrepreneur. These experiences are like different shades of the same color, and I can relate to the women entrepreneurs who now make up ~67% of my top stack rank! They’re building everything from complex drug delivery systems to alternative energy mechanisms, robotic intelligence systems, circular economy modules, and of course, platforms that connect other women. I've watched this number grow from ~40% last year to 67% this year in my deeptech/biotech heavy pipeline. In an industry where I've seen <10% women representation in deeptech investing cohorts, this is a huge win for the community. Some have fought cancer, some tribal biases, some age, but most of them? They’ve conquered indifference. All in all, it was a good week:) #investing #womenentrepreneurs #innovation

6moYour conclusion statement captures it all, and is really powerful, about women conquering indifference! It's not that women are limited by abilities, but by opportunities that we should think about and consciously work towards improving!
