Humanistic Thoughts on Humanistic Transportation, Happy Bus and its Low Passenger Utilization Rate The article addresses issues related to humanistic transportation and the low passenger utilization rates of the Happy Bus (Xiaohuang) program, which received subsidies for operating expenses. An audit revealed that many routes had over 50% empty operating rates and inadequate passenger seat utilization. The example of the "Happy Alishan 1st Road" highlights the service's inefficiencies, such as insufficient departures and long wait times, leading to poor user experience. It argues for a more user-centered approach to transportation service delivery, emphasizing the need for a diversified public transport system that aligns with the true needs of the population. The article critiques the government’s top-down planning that disregards local demands and suggests a comprehensive assessment mechanism to improve service effectiveness and user acceptance. #MotiveAsia #Taiwan https://lnkd.in/gstGseAm

In the life of WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft., the team building event held at the beginning of summer is a particularly important event every year. For the second year in a row, we have had the opportunity to organize and experience this event in Keszthely, in the unique Hotel Helikon. In the life of our company, it is of great importance, a few times a year, when our colleagues have the opportunity to replace online and formal discussions with informal and offline meetings and discussions. Although we have sites in five parts of the country and the geographical location of the construction sites also divides our employees, the collegiality, cohesion and team spirit of WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. cannot be compared to anything else. With this year's team building, our main goal was to achieve and establish effective cooperation within the group. While performing the tasks solved together, as a result of the time spent together, our colleagues gained common experiences. During the time spent together, the colleagues got to know each other better, while solving speed, skill and logic tasks. In this way, group members who rarely come into contact with each other in everyday work can also get closer to each other. Even after this year's program, we can draw the conclusion that "the session has achieved its goal". As a result of the joint programs, new collegial relationships were formed, and small, existing relationships deepened. We got to know sides of each other that would not happen in workplace communication. The team-building tasks carried out together brought the Colleagues together. The importance of team building is unquestionable. Joint programs make an important contribution to group cohesion. We believe that the WHB team building day held in Keszthely on June 7, the useful professional programs in the morning, the playful tasks in the afternoon and the informal party in the evening gave us all a recharge for busy weekdays and the rest of the year. #whb #whbgroup

📢 Joint Statement Released: “No Global Supply Chain Respecting Human Rights Without Mandatory Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence in East Asia” Human Rights Now and international civil society organizations have issued a joint statement addressing the urgent need for mandatory Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (mHREDD) laws in East Asia. 🌏 Key Calls to Action: 🔹 To EU and global leaders: Close legal loopholes that allow human rights and environmental violations to persist in global supply chains. Support the enactment of robust mHREDD laws in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. 🔹 To East Asian governments: Immediately implement laws requiring businesses to respect human rights and the environment across their operations and supply chains, ensuring access to justice for affected communities. 🔹 To businesses: Align operations with international standards, conduct meaningful stakeholder engagement, and take responsibility for human rights and environmental impacts. Without strong mHREDD legislation in East Asia, the global movement toward sustainable and ethical supply chains will remain incomplete. Let’s work together to create a future where human rights and environmental accountability are at the core of global supply chains. 📖 Read the full statement: https://lnkd.in/g3x9dhh6 #BusinessAndHumanRights #HumanRights #SupplyChains #EastAsia #Sustainability

World Intellectual Property Day is a unique occasion marked every year on the 26th of April, celebrating various aspects of IP and international goals for the IP field for the coming year. This year's World IP Day theme is “IP and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Building our common future with innovation and creativity.” This year's World IP Day goal has been established with the focus on advancing sustainability in a modern world, and with the aim of shining a light on how reimagining our lifestyle choices, such as our leisure activities or occupations, can lead to a more sustainable future for all. World IP Day 2024 presents an opportunity for us as a global network to delve into how IP can foster and enhance inventive and artistic solutions which could be vital in forging a more sustainable collective path forward. Established by the United Nations, a total of 17 Sustainable Development Goals have been implemented which span a variety of areas for sustainability. These goals include improvement in the areas of Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Affordable and Clean Energy, and Clean Water and Sanitation, among several others. These SGDs are intertwined, with each area requiring action in order to achieve the goals set forth by the UN. Each of the 17 SGDs is complex and will require a cohesive strategy in order to achieve the sustainability goals, meaning that a balanced worldwide approach utilizing multiple fields and industries is crucial. Intellectual property as an overall field has the propensity to greatly aid the development of these areas of sustainability goals in particular. Innovation has long been at the forefront of assisting communities across the globe, utilizing modern inventions to provide realistic solutions to worldwide sustainability concerns. We wish everybody a happy and innovative World IP Day 2024! How do you think IP can assist in paving the way toward a more sustainable future? Let us know in the comments! #WorldIPDay #IntellectualProperty #international #patent #innovation #invention #trademark #creativity #sustainable #sustainability #SPGgoals #UnitedNations #UN #trademark #industry #industrial #design #IPCoster
