Our July #AENnewsletter is out: https://lnkd.in/gSbZK6FZ.
We feature an exciting project by one of Africa Evidence Youth League members, B.M. Penka. (PHD) that is aimed at enhancing the participation of Francophone African academic researchers in the evidence ecosystem. You'll enjoy reading Gloria Anderson's key insights from the Africa Evidence Summit. We feature four blog posts from the Africa Evidence Leadership Award winners in different categories, who share their work in the evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) sector.
We welcome our #AENspotlight Ian Tarimo, a social entrepreneur at Tai Impact in Tanzania. He became a member of the Africa Evidence Network (AEN) because it gives his organisation a number of advantages and it is an opportunity for him to join a dynamic community that is committed to evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) throughout the African continent. Because this network fosters connections with researchers, policy-makers, practitioners, and stakeholders from various sectors and countries, facilitating collaborations and partnerships that can significantly enhance Tai's impact, he believes that Tai Impact would gain access to a network of professionals and organizations committed to the same goal through the AEN.
A wealth of resources, including guidelines, policy briefs, research papers, and best practices, are also accessible through the network. These resources are quite helpful for keeping up with the most recent advancements and advances in the industry. In the area of evidence-based decision making, Tai's reputation and credibility can be improved by joining a respectable network such as AEN. Because the network focuses on tackling possibilities and challenges unique to each African region, Tai's involvement in solving issues relevant to the continent is both significant and timely.
We also keep you abreast of the latest EIDM opportunities, academic journal articles, and upcoming evidence events.
We welcome and encourage your contributions to the #AENnewsletter and blog! To share your work or exciting stories from your country or organisation on either of these platforms, send an email to info@africaevidencenetwork.org.
