The Natural Wonder of Sustainability 🌿 Tagua is a hard seed that, once processed, resembles animal ivory in both appearance and texture. One of the biggest advantages of tagua is its sustainability. Unlike animal ivory, which involves hunting elephants and other endangered species, tagua is harvested sustainably without damaging the palms from which it comes. This not only helps preserve wildlife, but also supports the conservation of tropical ecosystems. 🌱 Adopting sustainable materials like tagua is a crucial step towards a greener and more ethical future. By choosing tagua products, we are making an ecological decision. ♻ Every time we choose tagua products, we are sending a powerful message about the importance of sustainability and social responsibility. We are supporting communities that depend on this resource and helping to protect our planet for future generations. 💚 #Tagua #Sustainability #VegetableIvory #SocialImpact #Conservation #EcoFriendly #FairTrade #SocialResponsibility #UpcyclingIngredients #EcuadorianIvoryPalmSeeds #PhytelephasAequatorialis #CircularEconomy #TaguaPowder #NaturalScrub #NaturalExfoliant

We invite you to read this fantastic change, actions and impacts for quality of living, conserving and sharing biodiversity. The globalized practices of massive plantations or major production industrial plants, for an unsustainable financially hungry and unhealthy food industry are being stopped and changed for better living of local people, neighboring towns and cities, while conserving unique natural habitats and ecosystems. What I love and celebrate of such change and impact is that it was not the ornithologist, nor the biologist, or the science community, or the ecotourism specialist, or the planning strategists, that or this "expert" in different fields, nor a government agency that did it, that took action for positive change. All of this process was created by humble visionary people with passion for their true wealth: their land, the native, natural forests and landscapes, not necessarily for creating a money making business, but as a consequence of creating and acting with a different purpose: quality of living, they are making a good living through nature tourism dollars. Education, conservation and empowering of local people are our purposes in life, part of our mission. We invite you to support these initiatives and visit them soon in biodiverse Ecuador, while conserving native forests, as well as having memorable great experiences you will treasure forever! Thank you Angie Drake for being part of this process https://lnkd.in/egxFmqhp

🐝 Yesterday We Celebrated World Bee Day: SKIDATA’s Beekeeping Achievements 🌍 As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we're buzzing with excitement to share an update on our very own bee colonies at our headquarters. In 2019, we embarked on a journey into the world of beekeeping right here at the SKIDATA site. Since then, our two thriving beehives have not only supported local biodiversity but also produced approximately 25 kg of blossom honey last year. This sweet success was shared with our team through our sandwich spread campaign, combining deliciousness with awareness about the importance of bees. 🐝 Did you know? - A single bee colony can consist of up to 50,000 bees and produce over 20 kg of honey in a good year. - Bees play a crucial role in pollinating the plants that feed the planet, yet they face numerous threats that reduce their numbers. Let's all take a moment to appreciate these hardworking pollinators who play such a vital role in our ecosystem. We're proud to contribute to their preservation and share the benefits of their hard work with our community. Join us in celebrating the unsung heroes of our environment. Here's to many more years of beekeeping and broader environmental stewardship! 🌼 #BeeTheChange #WorldBeeDay #Sustainability #CSR ------------------------------------------ [ 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 ] if you like this post [ 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ] if you have a suggestion or additional insight [ 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 ] if you are in a rush

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝? In our recent ocean-cleaning activity on a remote island in #Malaysia, we were fortunate and immensely happy to witness the wild #agarwood trees still flourishing in this untouched paradise. These majestic trees, some easily over 50-80 years old, stand scattered across the island, growing healthily and robustly. Their presence is not only a testament to the island's pristine condition but also a symbol of #hope for the preservation of our natural heritage. Agarwood, known for its highly prized aromatic resin, has been harvested for centuries. Unfortunately, this has led to severe overexploitation, making wild agarwood trees increasingly rare. This is why our encounter with these venerable trees was so profoundly moving. It reminded us of the delicate balance that must be maintained to ensure these natural wonders continue to thrive. We fervently hope that the agarwood trees on this island remain safe from illegal loggers. Protecting these trees is crucial not only for their intrinsic value but also for the broader ecological benefits they provide. Healthy agarwood forests support diverse ecosystems, offering habitat and food for countless species. Their presence stabilizes soil, prevents erosion, and contributes to the overall health of the environment. #Sustainable agarwood cultivation is essential in preserving wild agarwood for future generations. By promoting sustainable practices, we can meet the demand for agarwood without depleting natural populations. This involves cultivating agarwood in managed plantations, ensuring that wild trees remain untouched and can continue their natural growth. Moreover, sustainable practices support local communities by providing alternative livelihoods. By investing in sustainable agarwood farming, we can help reduce the pressure on wild agarwood trees, promoting conservation and economic stability simultaneously. In witnessing the wild agarwood trees on this remote island, we are reminded of our responsibility to protect and preserve these natural treasures. Let us commit to sustainable practices, not just for the sake of agarwood, but for the health of our forests and the well-being of future generations. Together, we can ensure that wild agarwood continues to flourish, symbolizing our respect for nature and our dedication to conservation.
